[y/n] wakes up in a cold sweat, and jerks up in a dark room. It's pitch black, only a stage light lighting two areas. One was where [y/n] was sitting, and one where a girl, her age was standing. Back turned, head facing the floor covered in buttercups. You stare at her for what feels like an hour, and then she speaks. "It was nice having a friend. It was nice exploring the underground. I had great times with my old friends, frisk and asriel." Frisk and asriel... you know them! You suddenly know she's talking about your two close guy friends, you feel a shiver go down your spine. "At least, I thought they were friends, until I was left to rot." "I know now they just used me for leisure, and as a guide." You're suddenly pulled to the ground, unable to get up because of the overlapping layers of vines. Buttercup vines. "If only, I could get a soul. One soul... I would be free. You think she's going to kill you, and you struggle. This feels so real...TOO real. She turns her head slightly to look at you. Her crimson eyes glow a radiant glow. "But I don't need a sacrifice, no. I need determination." Then everything goes black...
Then you are standing upright, still unable to move. And the girl in front of you. "Greetings, I am Chara. And you are [y/n]." It appears she's taken away your ability to speak. Or your too afraid to. "I'm sorry for scaring you, but it's true. And I need your help. No one else would." Chara says. "Would you?" She asks. You nod your head, and she gives you a syringe, and a vessel "what I need you to do is get a monster's determination and some of frisk's. Then you need to go to the underground and go to the gray house, then to the second bed in the child's room, the one with the golden flower drawing. Understood?" She asks. You nod your head. "Good.
