Previously On The War Has Just Begun:
"Pick. Princess Yona or Miss Y/N."

[ Hak's POV ]

I can't do this. I love Y/N but I can't lose the princess either. She looks over and smiles at me, obviously meaning I have to pick the Princess. Then I get a moment of flashbacks of our memories together.

"y/n you can't catch me!" Young Hak (13) laughed as he was running around the area.

"Oh I'll catch you Hak!" Young Y/N (12) yells and comes running attacking him from the back.

"You got me! Blah." Hak fake dies and lies there with his tongue sticking out.

"Yucky." Y/N then starts laughing and soon enough they both laugh.

another flashback -

"Hi, my name is Y/N!" 10 year old Y/N introduced herself to the King.

"Oh hello there! My name is -" The King started to speak before getting cut off.

"You're the king Hak talks about all the time who is very nice but is fat right?" Y/N asked smiling up to the King with bright shining eyes before getting hit in the head by Hak.

"Owie!" Y/N's eyes filled up with tears as she started to cry which got Mun-Dok completely mad at Hak and of course they started to fight.

"Hak you made her cry!" The general yelled grabbing the boy.

"There's no need to fight." The king chuckled a little and picked up the little girl sobbing below.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry.." tears continued to fall down her face as she apologized.

"It's alright.." The king then comforted the child.

another flashback

"How in the world do you expect for me to forget my second kiss. By the same guy who doesn't love me?!" 15 year old Y/N yelled at the top of her lungs.

"It wasn't a big deal! Hak (16) yelled back.

"You don't get it because you're probably too in love princess to understand!"Y/N yells crying and stomping off.

"I want you to forget because we can't love each other... and the only person I will ever love is you.." Hak whispered silently letting a tear fall down his eyes.

another flashback

"Hey Y/N, you'll be okay right?" Hak asked sleeping Y/N.

Holding her hand and watching her closely since she was just stabbed with a sword in the stomach.

"Why did you let that stupid guard hurt you? Are you just a straight up dummy that I love?"

"Do you think she won't wake up?" Min-Su asked from behind.

"She'll wake up. Soon." He mumbled letting her hand go as he walked away from her.
