~Chapter 5~

"And that's the diference between the m-" the teacher said, but was cut off by the bell ringing, signalling lunch. Instantly everyone ran out the door, leaving papers in the classroom, pushing people out of the way, and automatically talking about the latest gossip.

Which was me.

I slowly got up from my chair and walked out of the classroom, thinking about what kind of lies they might be saying. I chuckled at some that came into my mind as I walked down the hallway. As soon as I walked out of the classroom people moved out of the way, making a little walkway for me to go through.

'It's like I'm Moses' I said in my mind as I interally chuckled.

As I walked down the hallway, I heard people whispering as they stood still, watching me with a careful eye.

"She's probably a street fighter"

"She's a slut"

"Do you think she sells drugs?"

"How many guys do think she's banged?"

"What do you think's gonna happen when Ryan comes to school tomorrow?"

'-Wait. Who's Ryan?' I asked myself as I walked down the hallway. 'Is he a nerdy tattle tale? The principal's son? Some new kid?'

Thoughts and ideas of who this 'Ryan' person is swirled around in my mind as I walked to the cafeteria.

"Lily!" Daniel, Hunter, Mason, and Mitchel said at the same time as I walked towards where they were sitting with pizza, french fries, milk, and napkins on my tray.

"Hey guys" I said, sitting down next to Hunter and Mason, with Daniel and Mitchell across from me.

"So, how's scool for you so far?" Mason, taking a bite out of his cheeseburger.

"Pretty good, I guess" I said, making Mason nod his head in response before continuing to eat.

We just sat there and ate for a little while, not talking or anything, while thoughts kept running through my head, and an annoying question kept popping up in my head, making me think I was going to explode. "...Hey guys?" I said after a while, making all of them raise their heads away from their food and towards me.

"Yeah?" they all said instantly and at the same time, with food in their mouths. I held in a chuckle at how stupid they looked and asked the question that was going through my mind the whole time.

"Who the hell is Ryan?" I asked, looking at them and taking a bite out of one of my french fries.

"He's one of the guys we hang out with" Mitchell said to me, while taking such a huge bite out of his pizza that I'm surprised his mouth could open that much.

"Cool.. so what's he like?" I asked curiously, looking around at all of the boys. They all looked at each other, as if having some kind of conversation telepathically, before looking at me and exploding with answers.

"Tall"

"Muscular"

"A cock-blocker"

"Ladies man"

"Cool"

"Sporty"

"Cocky"

"Sarcastic"

"A pain in my ass"

"Funny"

"Ok, ok that's enough" I said, not even knowing what any of them said, because they said it all at once. "So, um... Anything I have to know about this high school that you guys already know?" I asked, not knowing what else to talk about.
