[DC's pov]
As I made Para's tea, she was sitting down, and I was making sure she was taking slow, easy breaths. I didn't want her to go into another attack, but sometimes it was inevitable. I finished making Para's tea, let it cool a bit, and handed it to her. It was on a plate, just in case. I walked Para over to the couch, she was still shaking slightly, and as we passed Phia, she shivered. I looked to the two in worry, but I sat next to Para, Phia was across from us.
I looked to Phia, I was serious "You need to explain why you are here, now. " I said firmly, not wanting to take anymore shit.
Phia sighed "You know, D, for a midget, ("Hey!.. I'm only 4'11!") you're too serious sometimes... " she trails off, then continues "Remember the day of the incident? How I tried to help protect you, as a human, but they shot me?" Phia asks. I nodded, it was a terrible day, the day my best friend died... Phia had tried to protect me, for they had thought I was guilty, at the time I was not myself... But I still remember. Phia continued, "They killed me, and I died. A group of traveling Demons had found me, sensing my pure intentions to help you, and they resurrected me, made me one of their own. They raised me." Phia finished as I nodded. Para was staring into the depths of her mug, quiet. I leaned forward and placed my head in my hands, trying not to remember what had happened that day, that fateful day, when my family's tranquility shattered, and was morphed into something grotesque. I sighed, "anyone want brownies? I need to calm down. " Phia grinned "yes, please!" Para smiled "sure"
