You walk home after a long day of school. Instead of going home like always you wanted to go out. Somewhere crowded. Being invisible. Watching other people rush to their destinations or holding hands with their loved one. Each person has a different life. Everyone has an important one. Many people don’t notice that, but you do. You’re glad that you do.
There was one man right in front of you looking around curiously at everything and everyone. He seemed somehow different. You didn’t know exactly why he looked different, and why he is the only person around who actually looked happy with a bright grin. You guess that it was his first time in the city, but if he was then he’d have a camera or even a phone with him. But he didn’t.
He catches you looking at him, but instead of looking away, you communicate with him through your eyes. You two soon finally meet each other.
He wore a long brown coat and had very puffy hair which you thought was very attractive, but didn’t show it.
“hello,’ he says smiling at you, “I believe that I’ve met you before…”
“You must have met my twin then.” You lie.
“you don’t have a twin.” He quickly figures it out which surprises you, “(y/n), right?”
You nod still in shock, “How did you-“
“told you, I met you before,” he says smiling, interrupting you.
You usually hate being interrupted, but this was different. He was different. And worse of all. You liked it.
