Her stomach hurt and her legs hurt pretty bad too, but it was her stomach she payed most attention too.
She quickly looked down, her hands going to her stomach, or at the very least, attempted too. Something cold against her very warm skin, held her arms back at the wrists. She couldn't reach her stomach.
She realized than she was sitting with her legs underneath her and her back pressed into what was without a doubt, a wall.
She quickly looked down, in fear that something was wrong with her baby.
Her red dress was covered in smudges of dirt and her legs were scrapped, but there seemed to be no other problems. Her swollen belly was still large and there. She felt a little relief at the fact that the pain in her stomach was staring to subside, though she did wish her baby would give a sign of being alright and kick her.
She then looked around the room, taking in her location and situation, mind whirling. She was in a small room with brick walls and a concrete floor. There was a door directly across from her with rusted hinges and no inside handle.
Along the ceiling were naked pipes and a dangling light bulb.
Her pulse thudded quicker and she found herself pulling at the chains that were holding her hands back. Her eyes glowed a golden hue as she attempted to use the wolf half of her. She was seconds away from fully going wolf mode when the door across from her swung open.
She recognized the man right away. It was the intense man from her baby's ceremony.
She snapped her jaws and growled at him. "What in the hell is this? Who are you?"
He regarded her coolly for a moment before looking away and stepping into the room. He didn't answer her, he ignored her and started walking around the small room, his arms crossed over his black t-shirt.
Hanna started to change, it was the only way she could think of to get out of the chains. It would take longer because of her pregnancy, but she was still able to become what she considered her true self.
Her first couple of bones had popped right as she had to throw herself back against the wall in order to miss the jaws that snapped at her aggressively. Her head ponded after smacking against brick and she winced.
Before her stood a large dark brown wolf with dark blue eyes. His ears were flat back and all of his sharp teeth were on full display. Saliva dripped from his mouth as he growled.
He had changed so quickly, she hadn't even noticed. If it weren't for the torn clothes and black boots left on the ground near the door, she would have thought the wolf had appeared from nowhere and the man had never been.
The scent of wild grass, sunlight, and...halfbreed filled her nose.
"Halfbreed..." She hissed after getting over her initial shock. She met the halfbreed's eyes as a show of dominance and lack of fear. "What do you think you're doing?"
His growls increased and his spittle raced down her leg and dampened her thighs.
"You're making a big mistake." The warned.
Hanna cried out as suddenly she felt the wolf's teeth sink into her shoulder, near her neck and hung on. She struggled there fruitlessly against the chains, each one of her movements causing the halfbreed's teeth to dig further down into her flesh.
She couldn't change, not with the pain and her pregnancy. She couldn't change safely without the focus to not harm her pup.
She didn't want to, and everything inside of her fought against it, but Hanna fell still. Her pain great and almost as big as the fear for her child, she lifted her chin...in a show of submission.
The halfbreed lingered for awhile before disengaging his teeth and running a quick, rough tongue over the punctures he had created. His saliva would help heal what he had caused.
Hanna panted, winced, but still glared at the halfbreed even as he backed away and began to change back into human form.
He stood before her naked and unashamed. He stared down at her with the same amount of hatred as she was aiming at him.
"This is without a doubt no mistake, Hanna." He crooned, revealing his voice for the first time. It was coarse, almost as if from disuse. She hated the way he said her name. "I meant to take you for many reasons."
"If I do not escape my chains and tear you apart myself, my mate will find you and do it in my name. Either way, you are finished for halfbreed."
"Halfbreed...halfbreed..." he mocked with a slow smirk. "Is that the only insult someone like you can think of? And as for your baseless threats...your mate is one of the reasons you find yourself in this predicament." He wiped a smear of blood from his cheek with the back of his hand. He smiled at her before walking out of the room, returning not even a second later with a pair of gray boxers on, large shoulders still bare.
His words pulled her attention. So, this halfbreed had some sort of vendetta against her husband.
"Oh, I can see you're curious." He squatted down before her and leaned forward as if it was she that was speaking. "Allow me to tell you a story..."
