"Okay who the FUCK is making that noise?!?"
................Silence...............
After what felt like hours, I turned to face my night clock. '7:39'
Groaning, I flopped myself out of bed and proceeded my regular daily routine. Which contains the following:
•Get out of bed
•Drag myself to the bathroom
•Brush teeth
•Wash hair
•Attempt to brush hair
•Drag myself downstairs
•Get breakfast
•Eat it
•Stay in my room and stare outside like I've never been there beforeYep that's how I function. I'm basically like a robot. Well just less cool, and less......like a machine. My room is pretty plain. Just blue, black, white, and grey. People call me emo but I would have to disagree. I just have a better sense of style than those normies.
"Karma! Come downstairs, your breakfast is going to get cold."
Oh right. Mother is home today. She usually isn't home. She works as an fashion designer so she has lots of fancy clothes. Most of them are made for me since she said I dress myself as if I was, and I quote, "depressed". I'm so offended. I'm being called depressed by my own mother.
"Karma!!!! Hurry up. I'm not going to drop you off if you don't hurry up."
'Drop me off? Drop me off to where?'
I cut my thoughts short as I got dressed and ran downstairs. "Alright, I'm coming!"
Downstairs mother was next to the coffee machine while it was brewing.....well, coffee. "Hey mom." She turned around and furrowed her brows. "What took you so long?"
I didn't think that I took that long, but who knows what's wrong with her. "I was just in my room." I took my seat and began eating. Waffles, my favorite. Walking over with what I presume is my cup, she grinned at me. "On the phone with your boyfriend?"
That made me choke on my food. "Wah—No-no-no!! I-wha—MOM!!!!" She just flashed me a smile and stuck her tongue out. "Just kidding. My, you don't have to be like that. You know I was only joking, right?" I eyed her and continued eating. We just have this kind of mother-daughter relationship.
"Okay when your done, we have to go and get your schedule and stuff." Pausing, I stared at her confused. "Wha?" Mother was already putting on her shoes. "Don't you 'wha' me. Remember that you transferred school?"
'Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I totally forgot'
"Oh right. That's today?" She turned around and gave me the most deadly glare I've ever seen. "Just finish eating and get in the car." Oh man, she's mad. Not trying to anger her further, I stuffed everything in my mouth and ran to get my stuff.
"You look like a chipmunk with those cheeks." Mother looked at the rear view mirror. I just pretended not to hear her insults and scrolled through my phone while she drove.
'I wonder how he's doing'
'He' was my childhood friend. We were best friends. He was like an older brother to me. Though I was kinda like his shadow, following everything he did. But like most childhood friend stories, we broke off. Long story short for some unknown reason, he got mad and we slowly parted away. The bruises still kinda hurt whenever I touch my arms. That was eleven years ago. I don't know why I'm still thinking about him. I'm pretty sure he already forgot about me. He was always the greater, more better one. Everyone loved him. He became more loved when he got his quirk. He was like a star. Shining bright in the night sky, while I am just a shadow. Slowly fading away.
"Okay, we're here." I jerked up, not expecting mother's voice. 'I guess I drifted off.' Looking around, I see this beautiful school, with cherry blossoms flying around. Honestly it looked like something from a movie.
"Alright, lets go."
