SKINNY LOVE

Zarina Elemide was as sheltered as she was brilliant. The daughter of one of King T'Chaka's most trusted advisors, it didn't come as a shock when she heard her father was to be Prince T'Challa's private tutor, teaching him the fundamentals, as well as the knowledge needed to be a great leader. It did come as a shock, however, when her father brought her along on his first day to meet the royal family, his reasoning being that it would be good for her to meet new people, as all she knew was her father and the books he used to teach her.

Actions bear consequences, and Zarina soon found herself in the good graces of Wakanda's soon-to-be king, the young prince often asking her to join him in his lessons under the guise that, since her father taught her as well, they could simply learn together. Thus began the friendship that, over time, blossomed into so much more, the two inseparable, even as their roads began to diverge.

But, like with all good things, troubles abound and the two find that their love might not withstand all the trials and changes occurring as their paths start to drift. As the saying goes, you can never go home again, and their past was no exception to this.

But while a past cannot be relived, a future is not set in stone, and while paths may stray, in the end, they all lead back to home.

So I did a thing. I know, I have so many other fics that I promised would be out first, but how could I not write about T'Challa, he has literally done nothing wrong in his life ever, and Shuri is the same, which is why I'm writing a fic linking this to hers. Also, if you read my other fics and also saw the additional cast, you'll find that this fic also correlated with my fic, Sleeping Beauty, which you don't have to read to read this, but you can if you want to!
