Deku walked nervously down the street. Uraraka had been quiet the entire week, ever since they had their impromptu date. The only time she seemed to come around was the day that he bumped into Kacchan. She didn't say anything, just froze and let out a sharp yelp. But when he went to ask what was wrong, she quickly scurried off. But today was Saturday, so he was going to try seeing her again. Making his way to her house, he knocked on her door. She opened the door and let out a heavy gasp.
"D-Deku!" She stammered. "What, uh... Why are you here?"
Deku looked away sheepishly. "Well, I've been thinking about that night we had together, and I just wanted to say..."
He grabbed her hands and held them as he looked deep into her eyes.
"Uraraka, I know you felt something that night. You didn't want me to leave. When we made love, we both wanted it. I know you may not have been expecting it, but that's what made it feel so real. So genuine."
"Deku," Uraraka began, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I love you Uraraka," Deku declared boldly. "I know it may seem too soon to say it but I don't care. I've felt this way ever since I first met you and this week has only made the feeling grow."
"Deku, I..."
His heart was pounding in his chest. He felt like it could even explode.
"I really wish you had called before you came here."
Dekus heart dropped as the door slowly opened the rest of the was. Bakugos eyes glowed angrily, his hands smoking.
"Kacchan?!" Deku gasped.
"You BASTARD!" Bakugo roared as he charged at Deku. His fist exploded against Dekus face, sending him flying across the street. Deku tumbled before finally landing in his feet. He only had a split second to regain his bearings before Bakugo began to rain hell upon him.
"Kacchan!" Deku shouted, going on the defensive. "What are you doing?!"
"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU, YOU BASTARD!"
Bakugo fired off massive blasts. They shattered nearby windows and dried the grass on the whole block. If it weren't for his Full Cowling, he'd probably be incinerated.
From atop a nearby building, heroes watched.
"Think we should do something?" Aizawa asked.
"No," All Might said quietly. "Only when there's real danger. For now, this is a personal battle between those boys. It's best to let them handle this themselves."
"But they both have such destructive Quirks. Are you sure you want them to just duke it out?"
All Might was quiet as he watched the fight continue.
"Stay off my GIRL!" Bakugo yelled, throwing a flurry of blast punches.
"YOUR GIRL?" Deku yelled back as his anger surged. He lunged at Bakugo, aiming a punch at his gut. Bakugo shot backwards, crashing into a car.
"What do you mean, your girl?" Deku huffed as he caught his breath. Bakugo looked to Uraraka, but her face burned with anger.
"What DO you mean, Kacchan?"
"Wh-what?"
Uraraka stamped her foot. "What do you mean? Am I really your girl?"
Bakugos jaw dropped as he stared at Uraraka.
"You say that you care for me, yet you won't be seen with me at UA." Tears streamed down her face. "You've only once said that you love me. So why should I stay with you, when you hardly seem to want me?"
Bakugo got to his feet. He looked at her, and then to Deku. His face was blank. No anger, no sadness. Just... nothing. He seemed hollow as he turned back to Uraraka as she stormed back into her house and slammed the door.
Deku looked to Bakugo. He wanted so badly to apologize. But Uraraka was right. How was he to know? They were keeping their relationship a secret after all. He tried to speak, but a massive hand gripped his shoulder.
"Let him be," All Might said softly. "There are things he has to think about. I believe it's best if you just go home and wait this out."
Deku watched as Bakugo silently turned and walked down the road.
"Love is a delicate thing. It can't be fought over. It simply needs time."
"Yes, All Might."
"But she seems to be worth it!" All Might bellowed, slapping Deku on the back and laughing.
"Ow! Hey, warn me next time!"
