What would you do if you were throw into a house with 20 something strangers and told that one of these strangers is your perfect love match? Better yet, what would you do knowing that if you find your perfect match, you could be one step closer to...
"And the number of perfect matches is...." Shane said as he lowered the lights of the room.
Anxiety began setting in for everyone. All they could have done was hope for the best.
"At least 5 tonight, come on!" AJS shouted.
"You're stupid plan better work Chris." Seth said to Chris.
Suspicions began to grow as they noticed the beams were taking extra long to come on.
They all stared at Shane as he was staring at the blank beams.
Suddenly......the room lights turned back on.
"Whats this?" Dolph asked.
"Was that a malfunction or..."asked Seth.
"Is something wrong with the beams?" Renee asked.
Shane turned to them with a look of seriousness, "No guys. Everything is fine. What just happened was...a blackout."
"A blackout?" They asked.
"Thanks to Chris's genius plan, tonight, none of you were perfect matches. That means all the couples here tonight are a confirmed no match."
Everyone's eyes widened and jaw's dropped.
VC-Roman- Wow, we still suck.
VC-Alexa- So Cesaro wasnt my perfect match this whole time.
VC-Renee- I guess I got to scratch Tye off my list.
The tension in the room grew high.
"This is crazy." Dana said.
VC-Dana- We went from having 2 matches to having zero tonight!
"Usually if you guys would have scored 1 or 2 out of 12 matches tonight, I would have scolded you. But, this blackout speaks a lot. Take notes of who you are sitting next too. They are not your match. Learn from this blackout, because if it were to happen again....your prize money will be cut in half."
"WHAT!" Chris stood up.
Everyone became even more devastated.
VC-Chris- The rate we're going, we're sure to get another blackout in the following 8 weeks. You know what that means? IM LOSING MONEY!
Chris grabbed his list and marched up to Shane. He turned to face everyone.
"What are you doing Chris?" Dean asked.
"Stay where you are." He began writing, "Im taking notes of who's sitting with who. I got a lot of calculations to do when we get back to the house."
"This blackout is very beneficial to your game. See where you went wrong, make changes and improve yourselves. I'll see you guys next week for the Getaway Challenge." Shane said.
VC-Chris- Instead of getting better every week, we're getting worse. We as a team suck. People arent even trying to find their perfect match. All they do all day is sit back and relax like theyre on some vacation. Then there are others like Paige and Elias who already gave up with this game. I mean, come on, fourth week in and the most beams we got so far is 2. We need a new plan. Something has to be done.
