I look at the clock. It said 9:00 PM. Good, Roy should be sleeping. I'm going out to the club to earn some money. Don't worry. I go there to sing. I was wearing a Black little dress with red heels.

I try to be as quiet as i can as i walk out of my room. I head for the door. I hear foot steps and a voice from behind me. Shit i was so close!
"Where do you think your going Mia!" Roy yelled at me.
"You don't need to know that," I say. I saw Roy's had go up. Before i knew it, Roy had slapped me across my face.
"OW!" I yell. I run to the door and leave the house. I manage to leave before he could hit me again. I speed walked down the street and made it to the club. I was only a block away. The whole time i was walking, I had my hand on my face. It really hurt and i could tell it was red. I got into the club and went straight to the bathroom before anyone could see me. I looked in the mirror and saw my face was red. I waited for a few minutes and the redness went down. I step out of the bathroom and headed to the bar.
"Hey Mark!" I say. Mark works at the club. Me and him are pretty close. I kind of told him everything because he was the only friend i had. We had a small conversation and i ordered a shot. After i drunk it i go on the stage and start singing.
