We went inside my room and the first thing that I saw was the glass window where palm trees are overlooking. It would have been nicer if we are in the sea, but this is good enough to spend our weekend. I put my bags in the cabinet and didn't bother to arrange my things in there. This will be just 2 short days.

Sceeya and Zey went out to the veranda, maybe to get fresh air while Heirra threw herself on the bed. The interior design is a combination of urban modern and mid-century modern. More than anything, I love that the shower has heater. Even it's summer, I feel cold in the morning.

"How's our engaged friend? You seemed so busy these past few months. Are the preparations going well?" I laid beside her, but her eyes stayed on the screen of her phone. She's hard to see especially now that she also started working as business analyst in their main branch.

"Deeply in love, but tired. There is something missing, Yllana. My heart is about to explode from so much happiness, but at the end of the day when I am already laying on my bed, I feel hollow like everything is just...customary. We are doing everything that our parents are telling us, and we don't know anymore if we are really having fun doing it. We never talked seriously since we graduated." She let out a deep sigh as she put down her phone, and stared in the ceiling.

"Our Ethics Professor said we should not give comments on things we don't understand or we haven't experienced, but you are my friend, so I will try to make you feel better. Try to run away even just for a week. Spend some time with Joven in a place you have never visited before. Talk and decide without thinking about anyone because that marriage will be about you in the future. People are helping you in the preparations, but it's gonna be the two of you after," I said.

"Good point. Thank you, Yllana." She moved nearer to me and gave me a hug even we are still laying down.

We were in that position when someone knocked. Heirra immediately got up to open the door. Whoever that is, I ought to kill him for disturbing. This is a good chance to talk to her heart to heart.

"Yllana, Bryan is here!" She shouted and I felt the need to get up too and face him.

Heirra was smiling wide when I walked to her direction. That nasty look in her face is making me cringe. Can't she see that the guy standing in front of us is younger and definitely not my type.

"Yes, Bryan? What do you need?"

"I am in Room 405. If you need any help, just call me or go there." His eyes landed on Heirra before he finished his sentence. That made my eyes narrowed. He seems interested in her. I cleared my throat to get his attention again, but when he looked at me again, he's wearing a playful smile.

"Won't you introduce me to your friend?" I glared at him, but that doesn't seem to matter to him.

"Heirra, Yllana's friend." She offered her hand casually.

"Nice to meet you. Bryan, an intern in Yllana's department," he said and gripped my friend's hand.

"She's engaged. We'll see you in the dining area for lunch." I gave him an intent look as a warning. It would be nicer if he's dad is here, so he will be tamed. It's a disaster that Alfonso is here in place of his dad.

"I'll see you then." He looked at Heirra and waved before he walked away. I immediately closed the door after he turned his back.

We enjoyed some quality time in the room before we head out to have lunch. They are definitely slaying in their bikini attires.

"Your employees will lose their sane when they see what their boss is wearing." I keep it simple but stunning. I chose a red bikini under net beach dress and crescent beach sun hat. In my right hand is sunglasses.
