Before I get onto this chapter I just want to apologise for the formatting of it, you will understand what I mean when you get to that part, I couldn't think of any other way of doing it so it's like that! Also this chapter isn't as long as the first one, I am writing chapter three at the moment so hopefully that will be done soon. Anyways enjoy I guess!

Today was Wednesday. The middle of the week, and the week seemed to be going so slow. Friday seemed ages away and Friday was all Kurt seemed to be wishing for.

Because Friday was the day he would see Blaine again.

Kurt knew he’d never see him but he kept his eye out between classes for Blaine just in case he caught him and that infectious smile of his. Kurt was at his locker with his three friends, once again not really listening to what they were saying but this time because of a completely different reason. Kurt couldn’t stop thinking about Blaine.

When Kurt had got home that night after the library fiasco all he could think about was his stunning hazel eyes, his gorgeous dark curls and that addictive smile. Now that Kurt knew Blaine liked him he couldn’t get other boy out his mind. Kurt didn’t think it would work like this, he thought that maybe he would meet a few other gay guys before he liked one, not fall for the first gay guy he met! But it just so happened that the first gay guy he met is insanely attractive and has a massive crush on him.

“KURT” Brit suddenly shouted “Dolphin, are you listening to us?”

“Sorry, what? I was in my own little world for a minute there.”

Quinn gave him another of those worried, disappointed looks.

Santana chimed in then. “Kurt what we were saying is, are you coming to Puck’s house party on Friday?”  She had a hint of anger to her speech probably upset that he wasn’t listening to her for once, Kurt always listened to them whatever they were talking about; be it boys, clothes or something completely boring.

Wait Friday? Shit.

“Did I already say I’m going?” Kurt said kicking himself for not remembering something like this.

“Erm…I’m pretty sure you did because you said you would give us all a lift in your navigator spaceship” Brit said…spaceship?!

“Why? Have you suddenly got a more important date to keep?” Santana said, still with that bitchy edge.

“No I just said I would work on a project with someone on Friday but I guess I can rearrange it…” Kurt said and inwardly sighed, he was looking forward to spending more time with Blaine.

“Yeah Kurtie I think it will be good for you, you’ve been off this week and I think some alcohol will fix that little problem, for a while anyway” Quinn said, she was wearing her demon smile, the smile that was on her lips but her eyes were burning, challenging you to say no, this was the smile that you couldn’t refuse.

“Of course I will go! Just because I forgot about it, doesn’t mean I don’t want to go anymore!” Kurt put on his best smile, this was his smile that didn’t reach his eyes, this was the smile that covered Kurt’s true feelings, this was the smile he had to wear most of the day this was the smile that stopped people seeing who he really was, like a mask.

“Great we’ll see you at lunch” Quinn said already walking away from Kurt, with the other two girls either side of her. Quinn was in supreme I-will-get-what-I-want bitch mood. Kurt sighed, the fake smile fading from his lips.
