CHAPTER 2:

HAZEL

I must have cried myself to sleep last night, my head hurts like hell this was worst than a hangover . I opened my night-lamp drawer and pulled out painkillers for the bloody headache and had them with some water. ahh.today is a new beginning. I nudged myself.

Honey its time to leave . yes mom coming.

In the car mom was asking questions about my new English teacher , of how he was and blah blah blah stuff, I think she is interested in him ahhhh!!! who cares I am too sore for this shit right now. I wish the earth opens up and swallows me, atleast then I wont have to ignore Jackson at school today. good thing I have only two classes with him today but what about tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, this is a never ending painful heart braking shit but I have to do this ignore thingy who knows eventually Ill make peace with it . I was just taking out my books from the locker when Teresa popped out of nowhere hey zel you are late ! hey I said wow that is the most plain hey I have ever heard, watts up with you are you ok? no Teresa I am not. wanna know why? because my crush, the guy whom I like wants to fuck you!!, you my best friend! For gods sake leave me alone!!!..........as much as I wanted to shout I knew that it wasn't her mistake , and my friendship with her is more important than anything in the world.

As the time passed my anxiety grew it was about time for my history lecture with Jackson.

I was pretending to have a conversation with the girl next to me when I saw him enter quickly dismissing myself from staring at him I continued to have a fake chat with Becky, when suddenly he came and sat behind me, oh my god I gave out a sight pretending to be engrossed in the conversation so he wouldn't talk to me. As expected he just sat behind. The history teacher was explaining the evolution of man and I intended to pay attention for the first time. He poked me with his pencil ones or twice but I pretended to ignore him and as soon as I was about to leave he called me Zel he shouted, still facing him backwards I closed my eyes and took a deep breath its ok, everything is ok. I told myself and turned towards him Yes.

dude you are acting weird, is everything all right? so now I am a dude to him his ultimate buddy, has he actually forgotten that I am a girl.

Putting his arm around my neck he continued dude we always go to biology together giving him a smile I replied yes how can I forget buddy, but right now I am going home not in a mood to attend anything. So bye ! with that I ran across the hall pushed the hall door open and went running to the bus stop. As I sat on the stop waiting for my bus suddenly tears rolled down my cheeks I could not control them any more letting them flow I hugged myself and started crying, a hand came to my shoulder and I looked up to find a guy offering a hanky to me. are you ok? taking the hanky I wiped my tears ya am fine thanks taking out a water bottle and handing it to me drink he said. A handsome stranger was consoling me! It surely felt good. Now that I was better the first thing I noticed were his eyes they were so blue like an ocean but somewhere they felt familiar to me, how could this be? I met him like right now I was staring at him like a hawker , I saw a bus coming from behind him it was the one I wanted. finally I came back to my senses and rushed listen I have got to go my bus is here, anyway have a good day with that I hopped in the bus and it took me home

my day at collage was the same, I had to take the bus today as my car was in the repair shop and mum was too busy in her own stuff , as I was walking to the stop I saw a girl sitting there timidly ,what fascinated me about her was that she was hugging herself ,her hazel brown hair all over her face, her eyes shut and tears falling from her cheeks. She looked so beautiful I had to see her eyes so I put a hand on her shoulder as she looked up ,her dark brown hazel eyes filled with tears I suddenly felt an urge to kick the shit out of the person who did this to her what is happening!!! Why do I feel like that? I dont even know her. Shaking my head and dismissing the thought I asked her if she was ok. Ya I am fine she replied , well darling dont look fine to me, offering her some water to drink I sat beside her , she was so delicate I was afraid if I touch her she might brake she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen , she had a hidden beauty and I was attracted to it listen I have got to go my bus here, anyway have a good day what??!!! She was leaving? but I dont even know your name!!!! .With that she was gone and I was left alone on the stop. Mystery girl I have got to find you!!
