Jonas' PoV
I had to the only one to think that it was stupid. I mean, the island looked like it was haunted and now, by help and being voluntold to do so, Ren, Alex, and I were. going by the cave to check the crazy myth they had told me about.
It will end in the demise of one of us getting hurt and probably dome masked murder was going to pick us off one-by-one. Yeah, I know I'm pessimistic, but look at what I just said for a minute, it could happen. I was just the person who thought of every situation.
"What do you think will happen if we find the weird sounds, or-or if we even find ghosts!?" The dufus named Reginald said excitedly.
I rolled my eyes, saying in a sarcastic tone. "Yeah, so they can possess and go, 'take me to your leader!'."
Alex shook her head at us. "First off, Ren, Jonas and I don't believe in ghosts. And second, Jonas, those are aliens."
"The ghosts could be aliens," I responded snarkly with a smirk and shrug. Combo pack, I loved combo packs.
It was Alex's turn to roll her own eyes, walking over to the cave then to the crop circle in front of us.
"Oh, look. A crop circle. I told you, ghost aliens." I chuckled and Ren punched my arm, telling my to shut it. I stared at him for the longest time, Alex tuning her radio, before saying, "You have the weakest punch of anyone I have ever met and I get punched a lot."
"I wonder why," Ren said, crossing his arms. "I could show uou my real force if you'd like, but I don't think you'd like it."
I laughed. "All bark aand no bite, Reginald."
"It's Ren, not Reginald!" He snapped, glarring what he tried to make as daggers.
"You don't scare me."
"You don't scare me either!"
I took a step toward him and he scurried back onto the ground and I laughed again, louder this time.
"I-I was taken off guard, that doesn't count!" He tried to persuade, scrambling up with the short, noodle legs his has.
"Well, if you have your guard up all the time, then you might not break your butt." I crossed my arms, nonchalantly, as Ren glared again. He was so easy to manipulate into getting angry.
"If your such an expert, then teach me your ways, Goddess of all." He made a pretend rainbow by waving his hands and I pointed to the water.
"Iris is that goddess, by the way. But I'd love to!" I said with fake enthusiasm. I took his hand and made him ball it into a fist and showed him how to swing it. "You're going too fast for such an unexperienced fighter. If you want a better impact, make it lengthy and punch with whatever you got." I let him go and put my arms outward. "Now try on me."
Ren seemed to be confused on why I was helping him. (I was a nice person, okay?) He looked at his fist, still balled from when I showed him and he clenched it before swinging at me and I let him hit the arm I put out to block it.
I nodded, shaking the pineneedles off my arm. "Better, better," I admitted. "Do you need help kicking or kissing too?"
"To be honest, I need help with both, but I'd take the one you'd actually help me with, the kicking." He was back to his normal playful self, eyeing me like his prey.
I shook my head and got in a stance. "Do what I do," I commanded. "This one is out to the side basically, got it?" He nodded and I turned my hips and kicked out, but still forward, inches away from my student. "Try that."
He ohed and tried what I did, stumbling back as his foot came back down.
I went to help him up and as we locked hands, a bursting sound came through Alex's radio. I forgot about her while I was teaching the idiot basic kicks and punches.
I dropped my student and scowled, crossing my arms over my chest. "How dare you interrupt my teaching, Alex, with that weird sound of yours!?"
Ren snickered and got up, not minding that I just bonked his head. "Alex, you should be more careful. Jonas was actually being nice to me for once."
I glanced over at him. "Reginald, you couldn't do that right, so I took my sanity and stowed it away so I could teach you things."
He gestured to me, still glaring at Alex. "See!? You ruined the beautiful moment, Alex. Shame on you. Shame. On. Your. Cow."
"Shame on her cow?" I repeated, blinking. They had quite a weird friendship.
"Oh, screw you, Ren," Alex snapped at him, waving the radio in front of him. "I got the alien ghosts station, are you gonna be proud of me? Or are you gonna be mad I ruined your bonding moment?"
"Both," Reginald and I said in unison. Different tones; mine calm, his angered. We both walked over toward her and we all huddled around the radio, looking at it.
"What's it doing?" Ren whispered to Alex, who shrugged, and I turned the station curiously to 124, which started to glow.
The radio shook, an indecipherable noise came from it, piercing the air and Alex dropped it as we covered out ears. The ground shook and I leveled my feet, but Alex and Ren fell to the ground; Alex on Ren.
Once it cleared, once the earthquake stopped I looked over at the campfire: Nona and Clarissa were gone; the campfire was out; and the eerie sense of danger lengthened.
"Shit," Ren muttered, rubbing his head. "I think Jo-ass just angered the ghosts."

So. That ended very well. Honestly, I'm making a version of Oxenfree, a sequel I guess, and it has worked out pretty well.
I didn't know sarcastic writing like this could come to me, so I'm getting better at writing too, and Jonas' PoV was quite cobfusing to write. I mean, I'm not that sarcastic, yet Jonas is here like, "Yeah, my middle name is sarcastic," with Ren here like, "I thought it was Reginald?" then, "NO, THAT'S YOUR NAME, REGINALD," soon with, "Oh, right. Sorry."
Wow, that is a perfect scene to use in this, but I doubt I'm use it- you know what, never mind.I'll use it later. All-ye, All-ye, All are free, farwell.
