"Fuck!"
Jimin groaned at the loud sounds coming from another room. It was the middle of the night, and his roommate was fast asleep. So confused, he sat up and listened.
"No! My kill streak!"
The voice was deep, and sounded frustrated. He also noticed loud sound effects, probably from a TV, were blasting, and they sounded like gunshots. This triggered a curious feeling within Jimin, so he grabbed Koya and got out of his warm bed.
The clock on the wall read 02:43 am, and Jimin was shocked to be up at this time. His roommate didn't seem to be a light sleeper, so didn't wake up at Jimin moving.
He walked down the corridor, trying to find the source of these sounds. It was dark, but he noticed flashes of light coming out the crack of one particular door, and be couldn't help but peek through.
He couldn't really see, so he pushed the door open. He was surprised to see someone sitting on the floor with a game controller in his hand, staring at an extremely large and bright TV.
"Fucking hell!" He put the controller down, seeming to not notice Jimin's presence. As Jimin observed this, he noticed this was also where Namjoon slept, and he was somehow fast asleep in his own bed.
A few seconds later, the boy on the floor turned to face the door, confirming to Jimin that it was in fact, Taehyung.
They made eye contact for a few seconds before Jimin shyly looked away. "Sorry, I was just wondering what the sound was..." He apologised.
Taehyung didn't mind at all. "No, no it's cool. I can show you my game if you like."
Jimin nodded and entered the room. He took a seat on the floor next to Taehyung, carefully placing Koya next to him.
"This game is called overwatch. It's really fun." He smiled to Jimin.
Jimin looked at the screen to see character selection. He was shocked at how many there were. "Wow, there's so many to pick."
"This is widowmaker. She's a sniper." Taehyung explained as he showed the said character on screen. Jimin saw how exaggerated her hips were, and thought about how Taehyung must like that.
"You want to have a go?" He asked, handing the controller. "It's not competitive mode, so it's okay."
Jimin didn't know what that meant, but took the controller anyway. He was quite clueless about what to do.
"Pick one that looks cool." He said.
Jimin nodded and stared at the screen that was already burning his eyes. He flicked through the different heroes until one caught his eye. A beautiful woman resembling an angel.
"That's Mercy. She's a healer." Taehyung explained. "You can help people not die and deal more damage."
Jimin smiled at the screen. "I want to help the team. But can I still kill people?"
"You are equipped with a gun as well."
"Okay. I'll be her!" He chirped, selecting the character.
"Okay, you're now at King's Row, and you have to escort the payload. You're defending so follow the others to know where you start." Taehyung said. Jimin found it funny how serious he was.
To say at the least, Jimin wasn't the best at video games. About four minutes into the game, he was on twenty deaths and no kills. But he had done a lot of healing, which helped him justify to Taehyung his many deaths.
"Jimin you are so lucky I'm not on competitive." Taehyung sighed.
"Sorry... I'm not really sure what's going on. All these people are moving around really fast."
"It's okay. You're having fun with it right?" Taehyung shook off his slight disappointment with Jimin's level of skill.
"It's kind of fun." He nodded. "But I think I would rather watch you play it since you know what you're doing."
Just as he said that, the voice of a woman beamed from the sound system. "Defeat." It was also written on the screen in large, bold writing.
"I lost." Jimin looked down. "Sorry."
Taehyung laughed. "Hey, don't worry about that. I think you done good for your first try." And Jimin felt his large hand on his shoulder.
"This game is really loud. How come nobody else woke up?" Jimin asked.
Taehyung shrugged. "They're all used to it by now. I'm sorry for waking you by the way..."
"It's okay, it was fun to try."
But just then, Namjoon's bed on the other side of the room made a slight creaking noise. The two boys then noticed Namjoon stirring before sitting up, looking unhappy.
"What time is it?" He asked groggily.
"Past three for sure." Taehyung replied.
"That fucking loud ass game." He muttered under his breath as he stood up, too tired to even notice Jimin. He then left the room, leaving Jimin curious.
"Where is Namjoon going?" Jimin asked.
"He's probably hungry." Taehyung said.
A few seconds later, Namjoon returned with both of his hands full of snacks. He was still muttering under his breath. "Fucking dickhead always playing those crappy games."
Namjoon crawled into his bed, his snacks by his side as he picked them up one at a time to completely devour.
When he went to pick up a bar of chocolate, he then noticed Jimin's presence. "Oh. Hi Jimin. Why are you up?"
"O-oh. I was wondering what Taehyung was playing." Jimin muttered.
Namjoon seemed like a completely different person, due to his extreme tiredness. "He's always playing those stupid loud games until four in the morning."
He didn't like the snappiness, but he understood Namjoon was tired. "Four?"
"Oh, not always!" Taehyung whined in defence. "Usually it's only until two..."
"Whatever. Once I've finished eating all this I want both of you in bed." Namjoon huffed.
Taehyung pointed out "That's a lot of f-"
"Shut the fuck up and let me live." Namjoon interrupted before shoving a cookie into his mouth.
Taehyung leaned over so his lips were hovering over Jimin's neck. This caused Jimin to feel his blood rush, and his heart pound. That was until he whispered into his ear. "Joon's going to look fat tomorrow."
In response, they both began to laugh at the thought of Namjoon struggling to dance from being bloated, and the complaints he would make.
"I don't even care what you're saying about me. I'm nearly done now anyway." Namjoon sighed.
Jimin and Taehyung continued to bond. And Jimin could already feel a connection forming between them.
In fact, there was something physical about all six of these boys that made him feel a familiar feeling. The tingles traveling around his body, and the sinful desires were nothing new, believe it or not. There was a lot to Jimin that contrasted with his innocent exterior.
"Right I'm done. Now go sleep you asshole." Namjoon snapped at Taehyung. He then averted his gaze to Jimin, and his expression softened slightly. "Jimin, you should get some sleep for your big day tomorrow."
Taehyung gasped."How come you're nice to him!?"
However Namjoon ignored him. "Goodnight Jiminie, I'll see you tomorrow."
Jimin gave a small smile to them both. As he stood up, he grabbed Koya, pulling him into his chest. "Night guys." He said timidly before leaving the room.
