Prologue

- Sasha's P.O.V -

My eyes fluttered open. Around me were white walls and heart monitors, blank colors and a constant, annoying beep was heard. When my vision cleared, I truly started to look around.

A boy  sat at my side, head bowed, eyes closed. His long fingers grasped loosely to mine, running his thumb over my knuckle. he was talking softly to himself, like he was in prayer. I felt it rude to interrupt him at such a sacred time, to tell him that i had no recollection as to who he was and why he was there, so I waited quietly.

After a few moments, he lifted his head, his eyes coming open.  A sea of red flooded his eyes, surrounding his bright greeny eyes. His hair all around his face, swept over to one side. He was honestly the most beautiful person I had ever seen. There was only one problem though.

I didn’t know who he was.

A wide smiled spread across his face. “Sasha! How long have you been awake?” he asked.

"A few minutes," I replied. "How do you know me?" I asked him.

His face dropped. “What do you mean?”

"How do you know me? It’s not a hard question," I replied. "Because I have no clue who you are,"

His mouthed gaped open. His fingers released mine and he fell back into his chair. He looked totally heartbroken.

"You don’t know who I am," he muttered into his hands. He rubbed his face. "They told me to expect memory loss, but they said nothing about this,"

"Who is ‘they’?" I asked.

He peeked through his fingers. “You don’t know why you are here?” he asked. I shook my head. He stood up. “Oh, no,” he started saying. “this isn’t happening,” a few tears fell down his face.

"What isn’t happening?" I asked. He gave no answer, but continued to pave the floor.

"What’s not happening?! And who are you?" I asked, my body shaking violently. The heart monitor was going on a frenzy. Nurses started to rush in, giving me medicine through my IV to calm me down. Soon I was calm, only breathing heavily. I sank back into the hospital bed.

"Who are you?" I asked calmly.

The boy drew in a deep breath. “I’m Ashton Irwin, your husband,”

I shook my head and started to laugh. How could such a gorgeous boy be my boyfriend let alone my husband? I knew that there were some parts of my life that I could not remember, but I didn’t get this kind of luck.
