C h e y
I stared into his big blue eyes, not saying a word. I was confused and let alone incredibly shattered.
I repeated the words he just said a few seconds ago.
"I think we're done."
"You're not good enough."
"I cheated on you."
I took a moment to convince that all of these were just hallucinations. He wouldn't say that to me, he would never cheated on me, we were perfect and nothing in this world could tear us apart. But then, I realized he was still standing there, wearing an icy cold expression. He did say those words. He didn't want me anymore.
I didn't attempt to say anything, because I didn't have anything to say at all. A wave of anxiety washed over me like a tsunami and I couldn't help myself to breathe anymore. I was drowning, it was unbelievably frustrating.
"Did you hear me?" He spat, bitterly.
"Yeah," I said as low as possible.
"I don't want to hurt you any further," he took a step forward, "Goodbye, Cheyenne."
