Chapter 10: Clearing my head.

Ryder's POV

I put my keys down on a table by the front door of my small apartment,

I grabbed my laptop and sat on the sofa, time to see how much money I have, and how far it will take me I said to myself,

After a minute or too my account was on the screen in front of me, and I had £500 to my name in savings, well that won't get me far I thought.

My phone started ringing, I prayed it wasn't Hallie or Kaiden, I wasn't in the mood to deal with either of them.

Mum flashed on the screen and I smiled answering it,
"Hey mum how's you?"
"Oh Ryder sweetheart I'm fine, I hope your doing well?" my mother replied
"Yeah I'm fine thanks, I was thinking of getting away for a bit, taking a break what are you and dad up too?" I asked

"Oh well it's good you want to get away, me and your father are going on a cruise, for four weeks! I don't suppose you could house sit and look after Jinx?" my mother replied

Jinx was my parents dog, he was a terrier, they had had him since I was little, so he was getting pretty old now.

"Of course I will, I don't have enough money to go abroad! so staying at yours will be perfect" I replied smiling.

"Great well if you could get here as soon as possible that will be great, we leave today at 3pm" my mother replied.
"Sara is Ryder coming or not?" I heard my father ask in the back round, "yes Bill she's just gonna pack some bits and make her way to us" my mother replied.

"Well that's good! Jinxy boy Ryder's coming to look after you" I heard my dad beam.

"By time I get to yours you will already be gone" I said.
"I know hunny so we will put Jinx in the kitchen, will you stay for the whole four weeks?" My mother asked

"Yeah of course I will it will be relaxing" I replied.

"Great thanks sweetheart, there's plenty of food and your room is all ready ok, so I'll let you go so you can get started" my mother said.

"Thanks mum, I hope you and dad have a great time on your cruise, and don't worry about anything, bye mum."

"Bye sweetheart" she said before she hung up,
I grabbed a hold all out from under my bed and started filling it with everything I would need, I'm glad I won't be in the same city, when Hallie and Kaiden get married I thought.

I arrived at my parents house at 4pm, the train ride was long and tiring.
I let myself inside my parents house, to see Jinx come running towards me, wagging his tail I instantly bent down and started to fuss him,
Did you let your self out the kitchen again Hu, I smiled.

Jinx barked happily, I stood up and went up to my room to put my bag down, Jinx by my side the whole way,
He jumped on my bed and got comfortable as he watched me unpack.
All too soon my stomach grumbled, let the lazy-ness begin! I smiled turning my phone off and putting it on my bedside table, then went down stairs to order pizza.

45 minutes later I was sat in the front room with Jinx eating pizza and watching a movie.
