i opened my eyes
to a dimly lit
musky room
liquid dripped from
something to my right
i squinted my eyes
trying to adjust to my new surroundings
my body feels numb
but it hurts at the same time
i try to move
but cannot
my wrists are shackled
and chained to the floor
i hear whimpers
a muffled scream
where am i
i cant remember
why am i here
"hello?" i ask
more muffled screams
i crane my head
looking both ways for
whoever is making the noise
i see movement to my right
"hey wha-"
its her
she crawled out of the shadows
chained to the wall
by her hands and feet
bloody
and mangled
gagged with a tie
at the sight of her i broke out in tears
i wanted to run to her
to hug her
to find out what happened
before i could say anything more
heavy footsteps thudded down the stairs
she cowered away
back into her dark corner
whimpering
crying
the person steps out
eyes burning like fire
