Chapter One

About my self- Hi my name is Aqua Relum, I have black long hair and ocean blue eyes as my appearance and ever since I was 3 my mom disappeared and I would cry and why you ask? we'll because ever since my mom got married to that jackass he would put her through hell then she disappeared when I turned 3 and left me with this heartless cold drunk bastard and now he puts me through hell by abusing me and saying it's my fault for her vanish . So now I have made my decision. I'm gonna run away.

I woke up and came down stairs to find my dad drunk past out on the couch.

I rolled my eyes and groaned which made him wake up and throw a beer bottle at me which missed me by a inch and it crashed into the wall " you son of a bitch!!!!" he yelled getting up as all the beer bottles that were on the couch now clasping to the floor. He made his way towards me giving me his deadly cold glare I tried backing away but he harshly grabbed my hair and slammed me to the floor as I yelped in pain as I was laying there with bruises on my arms and legs and scars on my face.

He just looked at me in disgust "your just as weak as your mother" he says as he walks out of the door with his beer bottle and slams the door so hard the glass window shattered to the ground.

I just sat there crying, I wish you were here by my side...why did you leave me mom I whispered to my self as tears streamed down my face I went up to my room and sank in my pillow crying then I stopped and got up and went to my treasure chest and took out a blue bracelet that had little light blue crystals on it I slided it in my pocket and little smile broke on my lips as I have something I treasure that my mom gave me. I sighed then I thought I think I should run away.

As I decided I packed some clothes and supplies in my mini backpack and I left out the doors.

As I walked out side I wanted to swim in the ocean to find another island for me to live on as I did I jumped in the ocean ( just to say the backpack was waterproof idk lol) I swam for like 2 miles away from where I lived then I spotted a island in guess it wasn't 2 miles it was 5 and since it got dark I swam there until I reached the sand and slept on the cold sand.

*Next Morning*

I woke up on the sand to find a man looking at me as if I was a alien I shot up and backed away" who are you?!" I said eyeing him in suspicion "oh pardon me I'm Doryan, and you may be?......" I'm Aqua, Aqua Relum, I said still kinda confused what's happening, his eyes widen "at last we have found are lost princess!!" he says bowing down to me "what the hell are you talking about?!" I say giving him a weird look "young one your mother has told a lot about you" he says smiling "huh?" I say confused on what the hell he is talking about, he sighs your mother was secretly the mermaid queen".

My jaw dropped on what he just said " no she's not!!! she's a normal human being!!!" I yelled he just sighed "your mother was the mermaid queen but left to sea the human world and what it's like, then fell for a human then permanently stayed on land and had you" but why did she disappear when I was only 3?" she came back to the ocean but died..." he said in a sad tone "oh" was all I could say as a tear ran down my face, " so why are you here on this island?" he asked in concerned, I told him the whole story about how my dad treated me.

His face turned into a frown "no one treats our princess like that" he says " do you have the bracelet your mother gave you?" I nodded and pulled it out if my pocket " ok good now wear it" I gave him a confused look but I did as he said then he smiled "let's go to your underwater kingdom" he grins I nod and we dive in the ocean.

As I do my bracelet starts glowing then my legs feel tingly and they start forming together, then my heart stopped when I had no legs but a dark blue tail and I started to get blue streaks in my hair. My eyes widen as I wiggle my tail in excitement,he chuckles at me as I'm in my own little world "like your tail princess?" he grins I smirk "yup" my eyes look over to his reddish orange tail and his eyes were bright green but before they were brown.

C'mon he says grabbing my wrist "ok!?!" I say as he drags me deeper in the ocean until I came to a underwater kingdom I saw bunch of fishes around and the palace was made solid blue stone with mermaid statues on each side and was decorated with shells,starfishes,rocks, and crystals. "It's beautiful" I say gazing at it which seemed like hours he grins then grabs my wrist again " let's go tell everyone we found are princess!!"

As we came I saw different mermaids and .... merman? is that how they say it? anyways as we came to the palace there was a old guy with a huge crown and a greyish blue tail sitting on the throne, Droyan went up to him "my majesties, we have found our lost mermaid princess!!" the I think is king widen his eyes as he stood up "my granddaughter has been found?!" Wait what? me? granddaughter? what the fuck are you talking about?
