⭐️Chapter Two⭐️

Chapter Two-

"What the hell are you talking about?!" I said in disbelief

"Child I'm your mothers father so you are related to me" I just thought how is my mom's father a merman?

"I shook my head "this is to much for me to handle!" "How should I even believe you people!! I must be dreaming! please tell me I'm dreaming!"

He sighed "were not lying and your not dreaming" I just stared at them as my mind spin with questions

I sighed in defeat "ok whatever I am... at least tell me a little more about my mom" I say giving him pleading eyes

"As you wish..., your mom was a mermaid and Doryan must have told you about her going to human world, well she made you then went back to our Kingdom then felt very sick then died".

My heart dropped when they said she 'died' for the second time, which doesn't make it any better.I might as well get use to being underwater and being a mermaid princess now I guess I thought as I looked down at my tail.

As I sigh knowing my life is never gonna be normal I looked over at the old man with a stern expression "ok I might as well get use to this place, can one of use show me around to my new kingdom?

The old man nods "by the way as your grandfather you should know my name, so call me Exlore, then he points at a guy with Raven black hair with a blue tail that was lighter then mine and gorgeous blue ey-... Wait did I just say gorgeous? "Kyoe, can you show Aqua around? he nods as his response as he looks over at me " c'mon princess

you coming? he smirks in roll my eyes "why wouldn't i? I said sarcastically

He showed me around places like, where I'm suppose to sleep and the best restaurants.Afterwards when he was done touring me around I plopped on my so called bed and just sat there as I tried to sleep but it bugged me that I'm underwater trying to sleep.

In my opinion I think it's bazaar but I drifted to sleep anyways as all the thoughts in my head just became fuzzy clouds and just hope when I wake up to find that this is only a dream.

Next morning

I woke to find a fish staring at me, 'GAHH!!' I say what the hell?! why is there a fish in my bed?! then I realized I was underwater sleeping on a... spongy bed?... I guess it was not a dream after all... I thought as I huffed and swam and walked out the door to meet a girl with purple hair and green eyes and a yellow tail.

"Oh hi I'm envy" she says giving me a warm smile "you must be the lost princess, am I correct?" I nodded "nice to meet you my princess" she says bowing down to me.

"No no, you don't have to bow down" I say as I wave my hand "oh ok, we'll anyways king Exlore wants to see you" "oh ok" I say as I tilted my head to the side thinking what's the problem this time.

She leaded me to his bedroom "majesties, you said you wanted your granddaughter, didn't you?" He looked over at her then at me "oh yes, come sit down next to me" he says a patting a space for me to sit on.

I sat down where he told me to sit then looked at him "yes grandfather?" I'm starting to get use to this grandfather thing, he sighs you have to find your love..... soon.

I tilted my head to the side confused on why do I have to find a fucking lover I'm pretty much fine being alone " he glared at me "watch your language" which makes me clamp my mouth shut, he rubs his temple then sighs "because since your the princess you need your prince."

But Exlore, I thought you were the king?... His face saddens " Aqua my dear, I'm getting to old to rule the ocean now" my eyes widen "no, no you are not old enough to die" I yelled as a tear ran down my face as I thought I can't lose another relative.

He shakes his head and sighs loudly " soon I must die it is how the world is, you must not forget that" he says giving a half smile on his face as he gets up "I'm must leave for now I got work to do" he says as he swam out the door.

"Im not losing a another relative" I whispered I laid on the weird looking bed and thought over my moms death, first of all why did she die when she came back here? there not telling the entire truth about my mother.

"You ok?" "Eh?" I say as I look up to see Kyoe leaning on the door crossing his arms over his chest, "oh yea I'm fine" I replied giving a loud sigh

He smiles "ok we'll see ya next morning" he says as leaves out at distance. Man that guy is pretty weird it thought and laid on my spongy bed as my eyes started getting heavier until my world went black.

Next Morning

I woke up with a groan as I heard crying if that's possible and screaming, I swam to one of my people that were now terrified and tap them on the shoulder " hey um Mr. what's going on?" his eyes widen as he saw me "princess, your grandfather...... died" he says bowing his head down

"What!?, this can't be!!!" I said full of sadness and anger "move!!" I yell to the mer-people crowding my dying grandfather

As they let me out of there way I swam to him "grandfather!?!" I say he was laying on his bed with his eyes closed until he opened them.He smiled weakly as he saw me with puffy red eyes " dear you must know I'm old and I must die" he sighs.

" No your not!, Now bare with me!!" I say through my shaky voice,he smiles at me "I'm afraid not dear, farewell my underwater kingdom maybe my new queen granddaughter take place to rule this kingdom with a trusting and loving king" he says as his eyes slowly close.

I froze in my spot as people started crying but you can't see the tears of mermaids since they're underwater, and well for myself I'm here trying to figure out why all this is happening to me, I just lost my last family that actually loved me, and most of all he treated me like his own daughter.
