My name is Albany and I had just moved into a new home in a new town. My
parents, Aileen and Arendal, had found a beautiful tri-level house with an finished basement
with kitchen and a bathroom. I was slightly hesitant to moving because it was a new beginning
to me, I felt overwhelmed. As I was unloading the big box U-Haul trailer, I noticed a
teenager about my age come walking up. "Would you like some help," questioned Paris, a
seventeen year old girl with hazel eyes and long strawberry hair. "Oh um.. Sure, what is your
name?" I asked the teenage girl. "Oh yeah sorry, I am Paris." Paris said softly. "Cool I am
Albany, here you can take this to the porch and set it in the corner." Arendal, my father, came
over and asked annoyed and snotty "Who is this?"
"Calm down dad, this is Paris, she is my new friend!" I explained to dad. "She
walked over here and asked if she could help so I said she could if that is okay?" Dad rolled
his eyes. "Yea sure whatever" he hissed and acted sarcastically. The boxes in the trailer were
piled as high as the clouds. It seemed like forever cause there were so many boxes.
My new house was a three bedroom house with two bathrooms, for once I got my
own room. I then gave Paris a tour of the house and by now it was five o'clock. "Sorry
Albany but it is five and I have to get home, I can pick you up tomorrow around seven so we
can get to the school and meet the counselor."
