Chapter 6

Emerald really felt ashamed on how the way that she has been acting the moment that she found herself in her current situation. It was just that she has been living her entire new life in a bliss in the company of Verde the moment that she has first open her eyes after she has died.

She doesn't really know how and when was it that she became entirely too dependent with her father that she forgot how to act like an adult should have been.

But she couldn't really be blame about the way she acted right?

She has been living her entire new life in the warmth and safety that her father provided her for.

She has been given with everything that she has ever wanted with no difficulty at all.

You could say that she has been treated so well in her new life that she has forgotten on how to be dependent with herself, on how she has live her life before with no one else by her side, aside from her parent that is.

She has live her whole life without anyone helping her after all.

So she could frankly say that, she has been rather spoiled rotten by Verde that she forgot how she has been a very independent woman in her past life, even though she wasn't currently that woman in the past anymore, the experience she has live her past life will never disappear and will always remain in her new life.

That is why Emerald knew that she was also at fault on how she has acted, on how childish and naïve she was at that time that she now find herself in her current situation.

That is why, during the time that she has been lock up until the moment she arrive the destination that she was being taken into, she took that time to really calm her mind, pushing every negative emotion and feeling she was currently feeling that might hinder her from what she wanted to fulfill toward her current goal.

Pushing the childish and naïve thought of a child and also the mentality of an adult that she also has, and only left words of information that she needed in her mind to be use to solve her current crisis.

Analyzing plans after plans and the effect of consequences of her words and actions she will have when it was time for her to confront the buyer later on.

To act like a machine, her father once told her, auto-pilot her every movements in order to erase the moment of her hesitation, to be so effective and efficient in everything she will have to do so that she will be able to reach the very perfection of her strategy without facing any major problem that will disrupt her plans.

The mental strength of pushing anything and everything distracting to the back of her mind.

It was time for her to start thinking, using the only skill that she could use at the moments, the only useful skill that she has, the number one ability that she was born with and it was her current brilliant mind that her father is very proud of.
