Chapter 1: The View
Many people say that earth was a great place, Some say it was dark. The ones who lived and saw it never mention it, and never talked about it when it was brought up. I don't know what to believe, but whatever earth was like, the war keeps raging. No one has dared to stop and think, "How would earth be after this war?", Well no one except me.
This war has been raging on for 60 years; I have no clue what was on earth before it, but I know what is now, and trust me, it's not pretty. Monsters.. As a little kid we use to be afraid of monsters under our bed or in our closet.. Now, we have to worry about the ones that are killing our kind, taking our kingdom out of the sky.
The skyland is where the humans built incase a huge epidimic ever came along and we needed to evacuate. It was said to withstand any natural disaster, But who knew we'd have to survive against these.. things.
