Chapter 2: the Town
We've been suspended off of earth for so long, the land itself has sustain its own earth.. or its own mini planet, I should say. If you looked upon this place, its beautiful in general. The placed leaked with activity, houses built into sides of hills, tall towers lining the outer parts of the world in which I call home.
My job was being in the medical field, longest working hours, and lowest pay. With the war going on, many of us were sent to earth, and the medics that have went to earth, well... never came back. I haven't been sent yet, but, its only a matter of time before they call me down there, And once it happens.. well... let's hope I don't anytime soon.
Oh, and before i forget. My names Tec. I'm one of the only girl medics, and on top of that i'm the youngest of them all, I'm Seventeen. There isn't a medic better than me, and no i'm not bragging, I was trained by the top medics to help the wounded soldiers. I only sleep in between shifts, and not even on sleep days. Oh, and sleep days, i forgot to tell you, we don't actually have day and night.. we only have hours.. each day is divided into 40 hours. Every half day is a sleep day. The days when we're allowed to leave work to go to sleep. So i never used them, tripling up shifts to help the rest of the populations and to get that extra work card.
