Second Chance

I heard that someone's begging,
She left him words of raging,
He saw her eyes flaming,
She walk out lamming.

I can't understand everything,
Thoughts are always coming,
Yet I need to realize something,
There are things worth waiting.

He begged for her forgiveness,
She could not forget his carelessness,
He admitted his weakness,
She expected his faithfulness.

It was hard for her to decide,
Their memories always reside,
He was always on her side,
Until the day he lied.

She had given all her trust,
He just made it to be dust,
Love that should last,
Was thrown in a blast.

He asked for a second chance,
A time for him to enhance,
He knelt down in vail,
And began to weep unto wail.

She already had enough,
She doesn't need another laugh,
Her happiness was stolen,
Her countenance was fallen.

She loved him dearly,
He treated her lightly,
He did not love her rightly,
Now, he understands fully.

Second chance may not always be given,
You can never bring back the past again,
Learn to value what you have today.
Ask for forgiveness within the day.

Don't let the day past with anger,
Don't treat her like a stranger,
Ask God for guidance all the way,
With the right words you have to say.
