Adrien, a relatively young Knight, began a very strange quest he decided to bestow upon himself. Find the origen of the fantastic song he heard of for so long. He had asked his King if he could take a leave of absence. The King at the start doubted about letting one of his best Knights leave, but seeing the young man so desperate to fulfil his personal quest, he obliged. Giving him the fastest horse of the kingdom, the toughest armor and a sturdy sword he sent him on his way. At his side he had his best friend and squire Nino.

The Knight traveled endless nights and days only stopping to eat and rest. He assured his friend that, "There is no time to rest, my lady is waiting for me. I wouldn't be much of a gentleman if a kept her waiting, right?". Nino would only sigh and smile at his friend confirm the he was correct.

One day he stopped at a meadow to see the stars. He would count them all if he could yet he vowed he never would without his lady by his side. While the 'Dreaming Knight', as his squire would call him, observed the shimmer of the Moon's light on the nearby pond a boy riding a small mule came to him begging for help. The small town he came from was under attack, and because the boy had spotted the man in armor passing by before he decided to ask for help. Never backing down from a fight Adrien quickly grabbed his sword and jumped on his horse. He pulled the boy on to the back of his steed and told him to guide him. Nino wasted no time in following his Master.

In less than an hour they had arrived only to see half a dozen bandits ransacking everything they could. The boy didn't let go of the steed as Adrien slowly but surely lowered himself to the ground. Once the metal armor hit the ground all the thieves turned around and smirked. They all threw themselves against Adrien. But under the helmet he smiled completely sure he would win no matter what.

As one thief decided to try his luck in one-on-one combat he charged at Adrien with his sword raised as far as his arms would let him go. Adrien let the thief trip as he missed and then pushed him to the ground. The next one tried the same tactic but seemed to have more experience with a sword. So he reached behind his back and pulled out a steel baton with which he smacked the man in the face with, knocking him out. The last four aggressors attacked all at one, having no choice Adrien was obligated to use lethal force against these men. He stabbed one in the gut as he hit one on the neck with his baton, then he proceeded to throw his baton at ones forehead and stabbed the next. Adrien hadn't noticed that there was one last thief standing, the boss. But it was to late, he had already been strucken in the side with a small dagger. As he fell he could see the village people come out and strike down the foe with hoes and pitchforks.

His sight began to blur and all he could hear was Nino telling him that all would be fine. Adrien could feel as the townsfolk removed his armor and checked his wound yet could not see them at all. Then he could fell a sting followed by a strong sensation of being burnt. The collective pain of the fight, the wound and the mysterious pain was to much as he slowly fainted into a not so relaxing slumber.
