Chapter 6

Bella's P.O.V

        "Nick... what are you doing here?" I ask him. Nick was the guy I had a crush on all of 8th grade year. He was also one of my best guy friends. We had 3 classes together, home room, and the lockers next to each other. We always had seats next to each other too so I saw him everyday it wasn't long until I just started to like him. We always talked a lot and goofed around with each other even his girlfriend got jealous! After they broke up and people saw us talking they always asked if we were going out or saying we would make a cute couple. But we always said no and it became awkward for us so we didn't talk as much as we use too. Later that year he started to have a "thing" with my friend but she knew how I felt and never did anything. After that he started to like my so called "Best friend" she didn't even like him but said yes and they started going out. Worst part was that she knew I liked him still. I tried everything to forget about him but he always ended back up in my mind. He was a player and broke girls' hearts but he was nice and sweet when he talked to me.

        "I'm staying here in Florida with Eric and his family," he said with a mischievous grin looking behind me. I was confused so I started to turn around

        "BELLA!" Eric yelled coming up behind me putting his arms around my waist and swinging me around.

        "Put me down!" I said in between laughs. I missed these boys they were mine, Ally, and Macy's best guy friends in 8th grade. We laughed and I gave them proper hugs. " How are you guys?! How long are you staying here for?" I ask them.

        "We have been her for two week now so about half a week?" Eric says and Nick nods confirming it. "We're good happy to see you! How are you? Are you been crying?" He asks with a worried look.

        "Uh,yeah. I'm fine" I say just happy to see them again. Nick reachs up and wipes the tears I missed away. He looks me in the eyes. No! No I can't fall for him again!

        "Was it a guy? Do we need to rough him up a bit?" Eric ask breaking our eye contact. He and Nick then start walking around me in circles with their fist up like boxers.

        "What are you boys doing bothering this young girl for?" Ask Mrs. Landry not seeing me because Eric was standing infront of me.

        "No worries Mrs.Landry I'm use to it," I said smiling at her. Mrs.Landry is a 7th grade math teacher.

        "Bella! How are you? I haven't seen you since you were in 8th grade! Who are you here with?" she asked giving me a hug.

        "I'm good! I'm here with Ally," I confirm.

        "Als is here too?" Nick ask still looking at me. I see behind him that she was talking to Liam and then started walking towards me. Liam just stood there looking at me. His eyes full of lost and regret. We made eye contact for a second before Louis put his hand on his shoulder.

        "Yup! I'm right here," she greets walking up behind. "long time no see guys! Mrs.Landry!!!" She say giving them a hug.

        " Hey Als!" The guys reply hugging her back.

        "You girls are getting to much bigger now!" Mrs.Landry says after she hugs her. We smile and nod. "Well I am going to go checkout, boys meet me in the car when you are done talking."

        "Yeah we got to go too mom is waiting," Ally says to me

        "We should hangout sometime while we're all still here," Nick says throwing his arm around my shoulders.

        "Why so you can got check out pretty girls at the beach?" I ask him rolling my eyes.

        "Your prettiest girl I have seen since we arrived" Nick replies with a wink.

        I shrug his arm off "Go help Mrs.Landry!" I says smiling. He gives me one of his charming smiles.

        "I'll text you tonight" he says. We say goodbye to Nick and Eric and they go off to help Eric's mom. I watch them walk off to find Mrs.Landry and I see Nick look back and wave again. I just smile and watch him go.

        "And?" My best friend ask I know exactly what she means.

        "I don't know maybe? I might like him again..." I say looking down at the ground.

Liam's P.O.V

        I see Bells stare at the guy in disbelief. They start to talk and I see a guy come up behind her pick her up and spin her around. I was about to go stop it until I see her laughing and hug them. I guess they are know each other. Friends maybe? But then I see them staring each other's eyes. So maybe more than friends? But why does that bother me? I think I do fancy her. I remember when I first ran into her. It felt like a tap to me but when I looked down I saw a beautiful girl sitting in the sand. It was like an angel fell from heaven.

        "Liam?" Ally asked walking down the isle. I look at her but quickly look back at Bella.

        "Do you know who that is?" I ask her.

        "Oh no." Oh no?

        "Oh no? Why, oh no?" I ask worried. Did he hurt her sometime in her past?

        "Thats Nick. In 8th grade he was the schools biggest player. We are all friend but he and Bella were the closest well other than me and Macy. She was basically in love with him she finally got over him late year. They flirted a lot but he is just playing her. I need to stop it before she starts to fall for him again," she says walking off.

        "Hey mate! Can we get gummy worms?" Louis ask putting a hand on my shoulder, but I don't look at him or the other lads instead I keep my focus of the scene infront of me as Als hugs their old friends.

        "Who's that?" Harry ask looking at them too.

        "The guy who stole Bella's heart," I say I turn around and look at the lads.

        "Well then I guess you have to steal it back," Zayn says with a smirk on his face. The boys all have an evil smile of their faces.

        "But you have to do one thing first," Niall says handing me a phone. I unlock the phone and dial the familiar number.

A/N

Poor Bella! But I can honestly say I have gone through the same situation. But I have two really great friends there to pick me up and help me move on:) Can anyone else relate to Bella's problem?
