Chapter 5 - The Morning After

Alfie (POV)

I woke up with the sun shining in my eyes. I still couldn't believe that last night had happened! I was still shocked. I pushed myself up off the bed and looked in the mirror and quickly made my hair presentable. I opened the door and slowly walked downstairs, I was up quite early for me as it was half 7. I went into the kitchen and Joe was sat there reading. He smiled at me.

"What happened between you and my sister last night?"

"Like I said to you last night nothing happened I was just cuddling her like friends do"

"Oh ok if you say so"

"What your saying you don't believe me?"

"Well your mouths did seem awfully close"

"Yeah well it was probably the angle you were looking at us"

"Yep probably"

Phew! I'm glad that conversation is over, I went over to the cupboards and pulled some bread out and put it in the toaster. Just as I did that Zoe entered the room, I smiled at her and she returned it. Joe suddenly left the room. Me and Zoe looked at each other none of us knew what to say.

"Morning Zo"

"Morning Alf, your up early aren't you?"

"Well I guess I just couldn't sleep."

"And why would that be?"

"I can think of a few reasons"

"Would one of your reasons be this" and with that she pulled me in and started kissing me. I grabbed hold of her waist and pulled her in closer, I lifted her up onto the worktop, the kiss suddenly turned more passionate. POP! Oh god my toast had popped, she laughed and jumped down.
