Chapter 5- the first task

I looked in the mirror in the tent at my outfit and looked at Caesuras "why am I dress as a prince?" I asked "hey quit complainin I have to ware my DPCUS and plus I think that Diana might like it if you dressed like this" she said I turned away blushing Down at the ground "you like her don't you" she asked " yeah I do" I replied and looked up I looked at Caesuras again "hey what does dpcu stand for anyway" I ask "Disruptive Pattern Camouflage Uniform" she replied "cool" I said amazed "do you have a spare" she shook her head "na stick with that for now once we get to quick silver I'll hook ya up with some" she said I hear a voice calling me it was Diana I walked to the entrance and saw her in the dress she wore at Andrews party "beautiful" I said she looked away blushing "Akko please stop you're making me blush" she replied I grabbed her cheek and turn her head towards me I smile and kiss on the mouth I hear a wolf whistle and turn around "finally" she said clapping Diana and we both started to blush "any way I came to see what the fuss was all about" Said Diana "hey can we talk?" I asked she nodded we went over to somewhere more quiet "what's wrong?" Diana asked "Caesuras wants me to join her in the red team of quick silver to help me open up more than just my magical abilities" I replied Diana looked at me "oh Akko that's amazing" Diana said with happiness and hugged me "really?" I asked "yes of course" she replied " but I will miss you I won't lie just remember to call me ok?" I nodded with a smile we went back to the group "how was the talk?" Caesuras asked me "I told her about your offer" I replied "yeah and" she asked "and she's happy for me" I replied " haha that's great cadet" she said slapping me on the arm "so the answer I will be going with you guys" I said "when do we leave?" She looked at me "after this tournament" she said to me "hahaha can't believe it we're getting a new cadet" she said slinging her arm around my neck but that changed when the headmistress came "gather around you three" she announced so we did "today you'll be tested on well you get through the first task once you are called you will reach your hand into this box and pull out your dragon understand?" She asked We nodded "alright then let's begin" she said "Andrew hanbridge" Andrew stood up walked over and took a dragon "ah Chinese fire ball" "Caesuras Bullgerelly" Caesuras walked over and took a dragon from the bag "ow bloody thing bit me" she said and stuck her hand in again "the Eastern copper head" said the headmistress "akostko kargori" I walked up  "you're looking fancy Akko" she said "thanks" I said "here goes nothing" I reached my hand in the bag and pulled out the last dragon "the Hungarian horntail" I gulped "hey" I looked it Caesuras "you'll be alright" she said putting her hand on my shoulder "you got the red squad standing behind we never leave a cadet behind" I smiled "thanks guys" I looked and saw Andrew walk to the entrance to arena a few minutes later Caesuras and her friends walked to me "Akko this is Adrian Heckerton and Ian Wild boys this is akosko kargori" she said "so you're the new cadet ai?" Adrian asked "yes sir" I replied shaking his hand "welcome to the squad" said Ian I smiled as I shook his hand "thanks" I replied "well we better go nice meeting you Akko" said Adrian "yeah same to you" I replied "good luck" Ian followed "yeah thanks" I replied they walk away 'where the hell can I get a pair of those DPCUS they look so cool'  I said to myself a few hours later it was my turn I stepped out looking for the dragon it was no where in sight but I did see the egg so I went towards only to be stopped by the dragon it's huge tail swung and hit the ground I jumped and ran towards a rock to protect myself with Diana looked at me her hands were cupped together to her chest mouthing 'use the shining rod'  I remembered and looked at the dragon then it hit me I ran towards the dragon shouting "hey over here" waving my arms in the air it looked at but I didn't see the tail as it hit me in the ribs sending me flying and hitting a wall "Akko" Diana shouted running the front Caesuras took out her gun and aimed it at the dragon Andrew stopped her she looked at him "are you stupid that's one of my cadets out there risking her life" she said "Akko was the one that took Diana's place in this let her do what she has to do" he replied "danm it" she cussed and stuck her gun back into her holder 'I can't die now I have to keep everyone is counting on me' I said to myself looking at the glow of the shining rod turning into a bow "shining arch" I chanted shooting an arrow at the dragon, it hit the dragon causing it to fall and iphit the ground "now's my chance" I said running towards the egg I slid and grabbed the egg "got it" I said with joy holding it up into the air everyone started to clap and cheer Diana ran towards me I caught her in my arms not letting go Caesuras and her team walked towards me "Congrats cadet ya did it" Said Caesuras patting me on the back the other two patted me on the back aswell "goodwork" Said Adrian Ian smile "thanks guys" I said "permission to give you guys a hug" "permission granted" the three said in unison coming in for a hug 'one down two ta go' I said to myself 'this is so bad' or I could be wrong.
