The Lost letters

Evan Pov

*9 years later*
"Oh my God Nikki! Look I just found my best friend from back in America! I haven't talked to her in years, not since a few months after we moved here. I never knew why she stopped talking to me." 

"Aw is that the girl that you mentioned to me?" Nikki askes looking over my shoulder to look at Baylee Facebook page with me.

"Yeah, it is." I sigh Baylee looked so happy in all these pictures on her Facebook. She's grown so much since I last saw her but so have I.  I wonder how she's doing I should message her. 

"Hey, babe I have to go now, Jasmine just texted me saying mom and dad want me home, I love you," Nikki says standing up from my bed kissing me before pulling her shoes on and going home. Nikki is Jasmines younger sister only by a year but it did make things awkward between and Jasmine for a bit but she got over it.

Time to message Baylee hopefully she responds.

Evan - Hey Baylee! Haven't talked to you or seen you in years how are you doing?

Baylee has accepted your friend 

Baylee - Oh hey, yeah its been a while. I'm doing fine hbu?

Evan - I've been doing amazing after my first year here it became just like home well except having you around. I missed talking to you but it seemed like you didn't want to talk to me after I moved. The letters they just stopped coming one day.

Baylee - What do you mean? I'm sure I sent letters at least once a month for the first year after you left I just thought you didn't want to talk to me and forgot about me. 

Evan - Oh Baylee never! I've wanted to talk to you for years! I just never knew how to find you. 

Baylee- I've had this facebook since I was 12 it shouldn't have been that hard to find me just saying. 

Evan -  I guess I never thought about it. Well, how are your parents?

Baylee - He left us, Evan. My mom cheated on him and he couldn't handle it so he got up and left. He left everything here and never came back. He hasn't even tried to reach out to me. It was a hard time and I didn't have my best friend. All the kids at school made fun of me, I moved and I was still the weird girl with no friends. 

Evan -  Oh god Baylee I'm so sorry for asking about it. I never thought your mom would do that or he would actually leave. I wish I could have been there for you I'm so sorry.

Baylee - It's fine Evan you couldn't have done anything. I have to go to bed now you can message me later. Night. 

A/N 

I'm so sorry for never uploading I've just been busy with other things lately. Next upload will be more of the Lost Letters. I might put 2 letters in one chapter I'm still thinking about it. Hope you all are having a great day xx Bre
