She was there waiting for him. He was far away enjoying himself. She greeted people with the most beautiful smile while only some could see the hidden tears in her eyes. In her heart she loved him more than anyone. In his heart, she was just another girl . Trusting one another was a huge dare. But holding on to the tiniest hope, she loved and trusted as if she had never been hurt. When they saw each other, her hopes crashed. She was hoping to meet the love of her life but alas she came in terms with a friend. Yes the story had changed. His queen had changed and moved on to another girl. But yea they agreed to be together, as best friends.
While she blamed herself for failing in love, she had been the actual winner. She lost a person who didn't love her but he never knew that he had lost the person who had loved him more than herself.
