• Leo's POV •

"Good morning." It was Nico's sleepy voice next to me.

I turned to face him, his hair a mess. A beautiful mess, that is. Sunlight filtered through his room, making the dust particles visible. I smiled at him, staring at his dark brown eyes.

"Happy Thanksgiving." I said, stretching my arms above my head. Nico then started to tickle my underarms and my sides.

"You. Son of a. Biscuit." I said in between laughs as he continued tickling me.

     "Biscuit?" He puzzled.

"Yes. Biscuit." I confirmed. Nico started tickling me again, and this time he was on top of me. I tried to grab hold of his wrists, but he was too strong, so he won this battle.

     "To be continued?" He smirked.

A/N: Sorry for all the John Green references xD

"Yea, right." I said, getting out of bed.

"Why you leave me?" Nico pouted, strangely but cutely resembling a puppy.

"I have to pee." I said, rushing into the bathroom.

I then suddenly felt bad for lying to him. I just had to find a way to avoid him for a few minutes. I know that this may sound stupid, but I mean, my relationship with Nico has been... different.

From my point of view, that is.

All because of that stupid new kid from Cali. That stupid, gorgeous, blue-eyed–you get my point.

I hovered over the bathroom sink and looked at my hair, or should I say rat's nest. I splashed cold water onto my face and removed the crust from my eyes. The "Valdangelo" tattoo was still surrounded by red on my wrist. I sighed, staring at it. I ran it under hot water, and I knew that it was permanent, but my dumb-self wanted to see if it would come off.

I don't know what to do. Nico. Jason. di Angelo. Grace. What the hell is the difference?

I'll tell you what's the difference, my conscience said, Nico is your boyfriend, and Jason is that fine young lad that now sits next to you in Algebra.

     "Not helping." I grumbled.

But you know what they say, if you love two people at once, go for the second one, because if you really loved the first, there wouldn't be a second.

I rolled my eyes and sat down, my back against the door. "I'm not sure if I even love Jason." I whispered.

Don't worry buddy, it'll come to you.

I was startled by hearing a knock at the door. "Babe? You okay?" Nico asked.

"Yeah, spectacular." I said with a voice crack mid-way.

"Well I'm going downstairs to get some breakfast." And then his footsteps trailed off.

I sighed and stood up and looked in the mirror one last time. I painted a smile on my face and headed downstairs.

•Nico's POV•

As I walked down the stairs, I could smell mom's cooking. She was planning to have this Thanksgiving brunch with her family over. Her family. She has a huge family. Most of them were driving down from Georgia, which is right next door.
