To the average eye, one can only see so much of the world surrounding them. They end up growing used to the area they witness everyday, and make something like walking down the street to such a trivial thing. But things were different for a certain Norski. Everyday, he was exposed to new types of scents, sounds and tastes that were both good and bad, but that didn't stop his excitement for each day, in search for something new. He enjoyed going to nearby fragrance and candle shops to see the calming colors of wonderful scents. His favorite would have to be the vanilla, it would let off the richest shades of blue, it calmed his nerves. 

You may be wondering, 'What even is synesthesia?' Well, if the definition wasn't very clear (Which I doubt it is clear, so don't worry) But synesthesia is a phenomenon that allows the diagnosed to see sound, smells, and tastes in color, though they are considered different types. Not only that, but the diagnosed could taste shapes in rare circumstances. But the most common case would be seeing sound and scent as color. Tord, in this case, has multiple types of the phenomenon. The seeing sounds, scents, and tastes as color.

A/N: I am so sorry this is so short, I will make chapters that are indeed longer. Also, I am no expert on synesthesia, I just know enough to write about it haha... but if any of you guys know something that I don't about this, don't be shy to message me. I will be happy to take more facts that I could put into this story. But I will be doing my research as well on this as I go along so it'll get better, promise.
