Author's notes: It's a sad day for me, fam. I found out that Ssamba, the author of my favorite manhwa (Fluttering Feelings), already passed away because of cancer. So in honor of her memories, I decided to put her manhwa into words with MikaSa as the main characters. Forgive the writing because I'm sure it would be difficult to convert a manhwa to literature. Huhuhu.
So here we go...

Alyssa fumbled, reaching for her ringing phone.
"Hello? Sino 'to?" she said while yawning.
"Tulog ka pa rin?!"
Her eyes shot wide open at the panicky voice of Kim, her best friend.
She checked her the time on her phone.
8:50 a.m.
"Shit! Di tumunog 'yung alarm!"
She stood up and prepared hastily. She couldn't be late! She had class at 9:30 a.m.
...
Mika was just checking herself in the mirror to make sure she looked nice. Satisfied, she went out to go to class.
She checked her time. 9:15 a.m.
"Risky ba masyado?" she thought.
She hailed a cab instead and told the driver the name of her university.
...
Alyssa was wearing her sneakers and running with all her might as a cab passed her by.
"Hindi ako pwedeng ma-late sa first day of school!"
She was running even until she was inside the building. She was heading to the third floor when she realized her class was on the 2nd floor.
She ran back down but her foot slipped at the edge of the step.
"Woah!"
Thankfully, she landed on her two feet.
"Thank God for my quick reflexes!"
But shakily.
"As if meron! Shit! Matutumba ako!"
Alyssa braced herself for the fall but somehow, she didn't.
Hands clutched her arms and her nose bumped softly on someone's shoulder.
"Okay ka lang? Nagulat ako doon, ah."
"Ah," Alyssa said.
"Ang ganda niya," Alyssa thought and stared. "She looks familiar. Nakita ko na ba siya before?"
Mika stared at Alyssa curiously.
"Eh," Mika started.
"Ah!" Alyssa suddenly realized she was going to be late.
She started to run away but turned back when she remembered.
"Thank you nga pala! Kundi dahil sayo, baka nabasag na ilong ko!" Alyssa shouted before running again.
"Madadapa na naman siya sa kakatakbo niya ng ganiyan," Mika thought.
"Mika."
Mika turned and saw the professor and greeted him. Her thoughts about the woman she encountered slowly flew away.
Alyssa, on the other hand, kept running until she reached her class. When she entered, she immediately saw Kim waving at her to sit beside her.
"Late sa first day of school?" Kim teased.
