Chapter 1

If you fell in love but you could only be with them if you had to change everything about yourself and leave your family or have the one love become something that is not really himself. Falling for someone who could change you or change them. Making someone they are not is not right. If your world is already falling part would you choose not to be human? Would you become a falling angel just to be with him? Someone that shouldn't be here in this world. Someone who kills to live and only comes every 27 years.

It was a Friday night, I was lying in bed with a cold. My Dad and brother went to the store to get me some soup and tea. I was reading a book waiting for them to get home and drawing some pictures for my Instagram. My cat Cupcake was laying by my side. My drawings weren't really normal they were my dream so I guess that makes sense. My dreams always have someone in them standing I can never see there face or what they look like and I can barely remember what they are doing after I wake up.When I first posted my picture I did think anyone would like it but I lot of people did. They keep asking me to reveal the identity of the man in shadows but I don't even know myself. I guess they will just never know. I petted Cupcake and was about to go to bed When I heard a voice.The voice was a guy. It was deep but childlike at the same time. I didn't know people could do that. It was unhuman like.

I was confused. What Aunt I don't have an aunt. I guess it's just my mind playing tricks on me because of my stupid cold. Weird I thought about to turn the lights off. Then I got the call the call that will change my life. I call that made me forget the voice. The call that made me regret everything that I did in my life.

Uggg what now. I answered the phone.

" Hello is this Y/N Y/L," a man said

"Yes, Who is this," I said confused.

"I'm sorry to say this but Your Brother is in the hospital and your dad has passed away" I freeze. Ryan and Dad what happened. Dad passed AWAY. I reminded I was on the phone.

"What hospital"

"St. Marys and I are offering Stave. I will meet you here and tell you to want to happen and I'm sorry"

" I will be there as fast as I can" I get out of bed fast scaring Cupcake and graded my bag and got in the car as fast a possible. I polling to the valet the could see I was rushing so they gave me a card and I went on my way I saw a Cop standing by the front. I walk up to him.

" Are You Y/N?" He Asked.

"Yes". He started walking and talking.

" Your Father went throw a green light and A distracted truck driver when throwing a stoplight at the speed at 70 miles an hour. I'm sorry to say your Father did not make it but your brother hasn't woken up yet." We walk to the elevator. "I'm sorry for what happened to you" I could feel my cold getting worse. I put my hand on the elevator wall.

" Are you ok"

"I'm Fine" I close my eyes and try to stay calm. Stane looked at me.

"Sure you are, Well I called all your relatives" I have relatives I thought. "They live in Maine so it may be a day or two." saying getting out of the elevator. I didn't want to hear this I don't want to think right now. We walk in silence.

The Voice said confused me. Why Me, Why Now. I almost forgot I was walking with offer Stane. He scared me when he said something that doesn't hear.

"What," I said confused

"This is your brother's room, um if you need anything call me here's my number" he handed me a card.

"Thank You," I said. He walked away and I stood in the door not going in. I didn't want to see my older brother lying there. I was hoping that it wouldn't be him and it would be someone else.

>Go On <

The Voice pushed me to move forward. I walked into the room and my brother Ryan lay there it looked like had a cast all over his body. I stare in shock that's my brother this is real and there was nothing I could do. I walked up to his bed and he was still asleep.I moved his dirty blond hair out of his face. I polled up a chair and sat and watched my brother. The family doctor walked in.

"Hello Y/N"

"Hi"

"Well, I have good news and bad news. What do you want to hear first."

"The good I guess" my head was starting to spin this is not good.

"Well your brother did not get hurt in the head so he should be fine there but here's the bad news it may be a long time until he can walk again.He will have to do a lot of therapy."I try to listen but I couldn't help myself my cold was getting worse. I look up but my doctor he could tell something was wrong.

" You have a fever don't you," he said asking knowingly. I looked down at my feet.

" yes I do"

" I'll get a nurse to put a cot in here so you can stay with your brother and bring you some medicine to help with your cold"

" Thanks, Doc" the doctor leave the room I stare at my brother he lay not moving like he was dead.The only thing telling me that he was alive was the heart monitor. I got up because I couldn't sit there any longer I went to go to the waiting room and got a soda and came back the nurse had already put up the cot and she gave me a cup of water and some medicine.

" I'm sorry dear for what happened to your family," said the nurse

" It'll be fine I think," I say not knowing what was about to happen to me.

" I heard your aunt is coming to get you to help you handle the situation" why does my aunt keeps popping up I've never even known I had one. I drink the water and take the medicine. I sit on the cot and looked at Ryan. We will be okay I know we will someone will take care of us we will survive without our dad it's been awhile since I've thought about Mom. My mother decided to leave us when we were young I was about 3 so I barely remember her but Dad always tells me stories about her always made me happy to hear what mom is like. apparently, she used to look like me but my dad says that I'm taller. He never told me why she left but said she just had to go. I start feeling my eyes getting heavy I decided to lay down on the cot.
