I'm numb, but I don't want to be.
I'm not blind, but I still can't see.
They say ignorance is nice because ignorance is bliss,
But I know it's not right always being completely oblivious.
It's time for me to wake up and smell the reality,
And fix the problems created by humanity.
I let apathy take over control,
And it has now turn my heart black as coal.
It's time that stopped, and for me to care,
It's time to pay attention, it's time to be aware.
