As she entered the manor, where the witches were, she knew right away that there was an evil, a dark force here that would try and stop her, she knew it was all to easy to find those three witches, just as she was about to take another step.  

Scarlett was struck with a bright blinding orange light that left her emobliezed from the neck down, all witches know that another witch is vantuable when she can't use her hands, Scarlett let out a string of crude words towards the caster, just as Deveina one of the three witches and the leader, just as she was about the cast her into the dark abyss, a green steam of light was shot at the side of deveina's face which rendered her unconscious, which allowed Scarlett the freedom to move her arms but not her legs.

The caster must first be killed for the full effects of the spell to wear off, at then another green stream of light was shot at deveina that ended her life which in turn free Scarlett for her to escape, she knew that it was all to easy and at that moment she knew that she will never underestimate her opponents again.
