Jasons POV

I led myself to believe that THIS was Demise, but I had doubts. To test my thinking out, I simply asked, "What's his name?" I looked at the other lombax that had worry painted on his face, "In this state, its Spike but, he used to be-" suddenly a explosion cut him off. The ship exploded as a few ships flew by, all looking the same, but they looked familiar to me. The ships swirled around and started shooting at us. I saw the Teal Lombax pick his unconscious fiancé up and soon we were all running, which wasn't enough. Soon we ended up where our ships -mine and Neons- were, but they too were blown to bits of metal pieces. Soon, robots surrounded me and my gang, along with our new friends. One by one, we blew different robots up, but there was too many for us all to handle. I looked at our friend, who looked scared, "is there a way you can help us?" I asked. The lombax nodded as we watched him put Spike down and change form. His fur turned white and his stripes turned pink. In a flash, we watched as the enemy landed, letting more robots come out as our friend started blowing them up and setting them on fire. I saw Spike waking up and I kneeled down to him, checking on him. "Hey, you ok? You went unconscious after a door hit you." I said. He looked at me dazed and mumbled, "Jason..?"

Spikes POV

It all happened way too quick. I went from cuddling my boyfriend to...whatever the hell is going on now. All I heard was muffled angered screams from my boyfriend and someone else before totally blacking out. It sounded so familiar though, like I have heard it somewhere before. Suddenly, I woke up hearing a battle go on as my face met a familiar pair of dark blue eyes and white fur with red stripes. "Jason?" I asked, trusting my vision. He looked shocked when I said that, like he didn't know I knew him. I then remember that I was still in my regular form, Spike. That explains why he seems so shocked. I saw him get up and call for someone, but my hearing was still off, so I wasn't sure who it was that he was calling. I took this distraction as an opportunity to turn back into what they were used to. Hopefully I remembered hpw to turn back.

Jasons POV

Holy crap! I didn't expect that response! He KNOWS my name! That means...this has to be Demise. I got up and called back Spikes boyfriend. He didn't listen, but when I looked back down at Spike, he was gone. I looked around and saw with my own eyes something incredible. Spike was in the air, changing color as his pupils and stripes turn red. Then he fell and landed in front of me on his feet. Before I could even say a word, he became a demon and started flying away in a direction. All the robots that were still active saw him and all of them went after him. I realized what he was doing and smiled, "Demise is distracting them! Defeat them while we can!" I commanded, using my rocket boots to catch up to the robots. One by one, we blasted them while our pal blasted the ones closer to Demise. He must be a protective type in love, but it suits him. Before they transformed, Spike looked like the one on top just from the look. Now, its like ot switched or something. As the bots were being destroyed, I noticed that we were approaching a ship. When we got closer, all of us except the robots went over/around it. I looked back as the ship soon rose from the ground and left. I smiled and looked at the rest, "That was fun. I haven't done that in a while." "Yeah, no kidding." Neon chuckled with his arms crossed. "Wait...", we heard as we looked at our pal, looking worried as he looked around himself. I didn't realize why he looked so worried till he spoke again, "Where did Demise go?".
