In the olden days the town of Keld was a trading town. Keld was known for its' design; Keld was designed to look like a rustic medieval town. The charm of how rustic and medieval it was brought many wanting to see how beautiful the sights were. In those days the town had many attractions and markets and businesses that brought many travelers from afar. But the markets brought the most money and fortune to the town. Many of those travelers decided to settle there in Keld. Keld grew rapidly, going from a mere amount of 500 to a staggering amount of 5,000. But that was back in the old days; back when the industrial revolution was happening. Soon the depression hit, and the once booming town became a shambles. Many people packed up and left, dropping the value of the town down lower than ever before. Today? Today, the many empty houses and businesses are a memory of the once booming town that Keld was. Evidence that Keld had once been bigger than ever before. All of it, the medieval houses and streets casting their rustic charm show a style that has never been seen in any other town. Still, some citizens remain. Many of them going into old age, and not many young people. Many of the younger generation left the town, now only a few remain.
Trees shift in the wind that passes through them. It is a whirling, flowing wind that sails through the sky. It rushes through the almost empty town, shaking wind chimes, banging window shutters and doors, and bringing a freezing cold along with it.
Things are changing in Keld.......................................................
