The soothing buzz of the chattering people and the mixture of light and heavy footsteps made heave out a big sigh. You were currently waiting for your friend, Namjoon, who volunteered himself to buy the both of you a cup of coffee. The man had been gone for almost a hour and you were starting to wonder what he broke this time.

'Let's hope it's not something too important,' you thought with a yawn.

Damn, you really do need that coffee. Your yawn lasted longer than the Titanic.

"I'm here! I'm here," you heard Namjoon frantically say. Upon seeing the man, with his mussed up hair and the brown stain on his white shirt that he is so obviously trying to cover with his bomber jacket, you could easily tell what today's god of Destruction victim is. He set the cups on the table and grinned, thoroughly proud of himself.

"I didn't break anything this time!" He bragged, dimples showing from how big he was smiling.

You laughed at how cute the man in front of you was. "You mean other than the coffee?"

Namjoon's smile turned into a pout. "I didn't break the cup!" He protested. "I only accidentally spilled the drink..."

You signalled him to continue when he started to get flustered.

"Thrice."

"I knew it," you sang. "One more time and I win the bet!"

Namjoon looked at you confused. "What bet?"

You gave him a cheeky smile and vaguely replied: "Oh, nothing important."

The older, knowing full well that you wouldn't budge even if he did come down to begging for this "unimportant" thing, simply sat down and sighed, defeated. "Whatever, you idiot."

You giggled at the man across from you. It never gets old, teasing Namjoon. How he reacts to everything is just so amusing.

You looked to the side, watching other people pass by the small café, thinking. Looking back to everything you've been through together, you questioned how you would even be able to live without him.

"Nervous?"

Turning your head at Namjoon, you could see he was concerned. You shook your head and waved your hand dismissively. "Yeah, it's fine. If I could go through high school, this would be a piece of cake."

Namjoon chuckled at your comparison. "I'm not so sure about that. I mean, moving to another country - which is basically on the other side of the world - isn't that a bit daunting?"

"Way to comfort me, Joon," you rolled your eyes. Namjoon's eyes widened as he frantically shook he said.

"No, no! That's not what I meant! I mean it is but that's not supposed to make you feel uncomfortable!"

"I'm kidding," you said, trying to calm the man down. When he finally settled back in his seat, you continued. "I just, you know..." You trailed off, hoping he would get it without you having to say it out loud.

After realizing you weren't going to finish that sentence, Namjoon huffed. "Well I don't know! Please do tell me."

You couldn't. You were too embarrassed to say it. So instead you decided to pacify him by saying: "I'll tell you when I'm done with my coffee - it's starting to get cold."

Namjoon reluctantly agreed, thinking that the wait was worth finding out what you were so flustered about. Looking at the time, you stood up, Namjoon following suit when he realized it was time. When he offered to help you carry your luggage, you declined his offer given you needed them in one piece at least until after your flight. There wasn't much to carry anyway.
