Lex's pov
I'm currently sat at my desk in a room alone.
It's just a normal night for me. I am awake till God knows and still get straight A's. Strange isn't it. How the human mind works.
I think about school and how I'm gonna deal with the bullies. All I'm gonna do is say what's on my mind. Like normal. They hate it.
I get up from my desk and go to open my window. As soon as the window is open I sit on the window sill and look at the night sky.
It's adoption day tomorrow/today and all I want is someone like me. Someone who is smart yet shy, someone well read and likes their older books rather the new books and would rather listen to some classical rather than pop (although I wouldn't mind the occasional punk rock band)
next thing I know the sun is shining and the birds are chirping so I turned on my tv and next thing I am greeted with some news about a murder that happened in state of texas which might I say is quite far from my home state of Virginia.
I get up with the news as background music and get changed into my casual outfit which hopefully I stick out in a good way to everyone else.
one sentence caught my attention "writing on the wall said 'I will avenge my daughter who I left that day for jesus name we pray amen' police and FBI are still finding out what this means..."
I zoned out.
please no, not him...
