The Marbot family was a poor pureblood family for most of their history. Tho many of their Muggle relatives are full of money. The wizarding money had came in when Jem married the rich Annie Rosier, Jem also entered an high paying job in the ministry. Together the pair had 4 children, Lucien the oldest went by Luci. The second oldest was Sofia whom went by Sonya, she pick the name up from Leo Tolstoy's 'War and Peace'. The youngest ones where twins, Maria was older by an hour, then Marshall or Marsh. The family lived in a modest house for all the money they brought in. They were a modest family never flashing their money for everyone to see like to Malfoys or Notts.

Before Sonya was born the family moved to britain so Jem could be closer to his work, they moved close to the Weasley. They become neighbourly with the Family, and Sonya become good friend with the families youngest son Ron. Luci become friends with Percy even tho they went to different schools, Luci going to Beauxbatons Academy in the school year and Percy going to Hogwarts. Behind the scenes Luci had made Percy promise that he would look after Sonya in her adventures at Hogwarts. And this my friends is when we pick up our story.
