I couldn’t figure out what would lie ahead for me during my time in high school. I’d always thought that I would end up working at McDonalds for the rest of my goddamn life. At one point, all I could afford was to live on two dollars a day for food. But that, was before we became roommates. My longtime friends, Midge and Danielle, and I ended up in an apartment, just off the coast of the gulf two months later. Due to the lack of jobs in the area of Texas, we all decided to get a job at a restaurant and do YouTube in our spare time. We were fairly unpopular on YouTube, due to the fact we didn’t have any professional equipment, and each only uploaded once a week. We all focused on different things. I was doing animation, makeup cosplay, and vlogging.
Midge decided hers would be a gaming account, as well as a cosplay account. Lastly Danielle had decided on going full anime and cosplay.
I packed the rest of my books into the last moving box as striking blue color came into the corner of my eye, which I quickly recognized was Midge’s hair.
“I assume you finished packing?” She questions, examining my small side of the room. I nod, picking up the box and setting it on my mattress. “Okay, good.”
Danielle’s side is still covered in junk when the moving truck arrives.
God damn it Danielle.
