My Aunty had a bright purple bruise. on her cheek. I knew right away that she had been smacked by Uncle. Taylor and I rushed to her side to make sure she was Ok.

Aunty shrugged us off when we asked her what had happened and told us to unpack and get ready for dinner. Taylor could sense that I had an idea of what had happened so she pulled me up the stairs and asked me to tell her what I thought. I felt bad having to accuse her father who looked after me against his will.

I told her who I suspected and she felt that it could have been Uncle that had done it. Right after our chat Uncle tore into the house shouting at Taylor and I to come out of the room. He sounded pretty angry.

We tiptoed down the stairs quietly, we were frightened about what would happen. Just as we reached the bottom of the stair something hit me hard in the head and then I blacked out...

Cliffhanger!! ...
