Chapter 3 | The Past

The Seven Deadly Sins including Gowther's unconscious body, King Auther and Nicolette made their way to a nearby tea shop. They all sat down eager to hear of Nicolette's past. Especially Merlin. She wanted to find out how mere human could become so strong and live for so long. She thought to herself This is truly interesting. More so than my experiments

They all settled down. "No interruptions alright?" They all nodded.

Nicolette started "It all started a long time ago...

It was a few hours after I had tea with my friend Anna. Everything seemed fine then. Nothing seemed out of place until I saw a woman who seemingly looked out of place. She had unusually pale skin and long white hair. She just doesn't seem normal. I had this feeling about her.

I guess she had seen me staring at her for a long time so she called me over. She offered me a deal that if I let her do what she wants to me, she'll give me anything. Well, me being the damn idiot I was back then, I agreed. She asked me to hold out my hands and I did.

She cupped my hands in hers and not long after, I couldn't control my body and she was nowhere to be seen. And that was when I realised that she took control of my body. She even acted the way I was by accessing my memories. More and more people fell for it. Fell for their race. They were trying to take over the world. She used me to convince others to let their race take control.

Rage was accumulating within me. they were despicable in my eyes. I started to plan how I should take my revenge.

While she was in my body, Her power was too. After many trials and errors, I found out how I could use her power as my own. And I took back my body. I killed her. It felt so good to kill her and thus I started my killing spree.

I couldn't be stopped. The rush of satisfaction was simply too great for me to handle. The more I killed the more power I gained. I kept killing and my power kept increasing. I went insane. At that time I was power hungry. I didn't even sleep, eat or drink water. I think I didn't even breathe. All I wanted was power. Nothing could stop me.

I've killed everyone. Before I knew it, I killed my best friend. Anna.

She was the one who made me come back to my senses. I couldn't forgive myself. I destroyed everything including my dimension itself. Everything started to fade. And I ran. Ran into the nothingness before me. Well, at least until I found out that I can go into a different dimension that is.

And when I did, I met Meliodas. And that's a different story to tell"

"Nic, why didn't you tell me about this?" Meliodas asked.

"It was embarrassing back then so I didn't tell anyone till now." She replied. "Now that this is over, we need to discuss what to do now that the 10 Commandments are all released."

"Yeah, we're simply too weak. If Nicolette didn't come at that moment, we'd all die." Diane said, "We need to get stronger!"

"We also need to find Escanor. The last sin. Then sin of pride."
