CHAPTER NINE (This chapter did not happen in the film but I still thought I'd add it in ❤️) ————— You woke up to the sound of your alarm clock blaring out a loud, ringing noise. You groaned as you slam down your hand on it, silencing it. Suddenly your eyes grow wide and you squeal with excitement, today was the first school dance of the year! Of course you and your boyfriend Eddie, are going together. Bill and Bev are also going together. You could see how upset Ben was about this, but you didn't want to mention it. You went downstairs, the smell of bacon overtook your senses causing a small sigh to slip from your lips.
After you had eaten, you got changed and ready for school. You searched through your wardrobe, trying to find something nice to wear. After 10 minutes of searching you found exactly what you wanted to wear.

You looked in the mirror and smiled, you slipped on your shoes, grabbed your school stuff and left for school.
You arrived and you immediately ran over to Eddie, and gave him th biggest hug possible. The Richie spoke up, "Do you want one from me too, (Y/N)?" You giggled and gave him a hug followed by the rest of the Losers. "So (Y/N) are you excited for the dance tonight? Oh and by the way, would t be okay if I got ready at yours since, well you know." Beverly asked. You nodded your head, you knew about bevvies dad and how he treated her.
You all made it to your first class, debate. You were debating about god knows what, you weren't really listening, all you could think about was the dance and how excited you were. Whilst you were daydreaming, Eddie was doing the exact same thing, he imagined you in an array of beautiful dresses, smiling every time. You were both interrupted by the shrilling ring of the bell. He waited by the door for you as you left the classroom. The second you stepped through the door, you could feel his eyes on you. Trailing up and down your body every time. It sent shivers down your spine.

You didn't dare tell Eddie in case he got protective of you, if he faced bowers he would get seriously hurt, and that's the last thing you wanted to happen to your Eddie. So you shrugged it off and you and Eddie talked as you made your way down the corridor. "So (Y/N) what are you wearing tonight?" Eddie asked, a curious look on his face. "That my dear Eddie, is for me to know and for you to find out..." you said with a grin as you walked over to Beverly.
The rest of your day went smoothly. As the day progressed you got more and more excited. Finally it was time, the last bell of the day rang like music to your ears. You ran to bevvies last class and grabbed her by the arm, leading her outside. "Jheeze calm down (Y/N)!" Bev said with a giggle.
