Hi :D So I'm kinda new at this, so If this story is bad don't judge me :P I hope you like it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“MUMMY!” I cried as those eyes full of fear and pain looked straight into mine. Daddy was already gone; his body lay limp and lifeless on the couch. The hot salty tears ran down my face as I watched my mothers’ eyes glaze over, proving that she was dead. As soon as she turned limp, the man pulled the knife out of her chest and walked out the front door. I should have been paying attention, I should have made sure to see his face before he walked out, but I was too busy staring at my mothers’ face, as the tears blurred my vision. “Good bye little girl.” The man said as he walked out the door.
I hear the clinking of metal, before the harsh whisper of curses. My eyes flew open looking up at the springs and planks of wood holding up the mattress for the top bunk bed, in the orphanage. Careful, not to wake up the other kids, I pulled off my covers and fumbled around under my pillow for the torch that I never sleep without. It helps when you wake up in the dead of night and find your mouth rough and sticky, and you’re almost dying of thirst. I get out of bed, and listen to the steady breathing of my roommates. None of them had been disturbed by the sounds. I quietly walked down the hall to the top of the stairs. That’s when I heard the low mutter of conversation.
 “Be quiet!” One of the voices whispered. It was rough and had a catch half way through. A boy, he sounded like he’s just hit puberty, but the by the way he told the others to be quiet, he sounded like the leader. “Jeez, so bossy.” Another whispered back. This one a female, and but the tone of her voice it sounds like she’s teasing him. “I’m serious, Val, we need to find this girl!” He growled softly, showing his annoyance. “Whatever you say, boss.” She said sighing “I still don’t understand why we need her, she’s not the only victim you know.” I heard the shuffling off feet as they came closer to the stair case. I backed up slowly, making sure they didn’t see me.
 My heart was racing in my chest. Who were they talking about? Victim of what? Who do they need? What are they going to do? “She may not be the only victim, but she could be the one that has seen his face. If she can help us, we could get revenge on him, for taking the most important things away from us, and making us live in crappy places like this.” He said the last part with anger and disgust. “Hmm, I guess so. But what if she can’t help us Braiden? Who will we go to then?” She said with uncertainty. “I don’t know. But I promise we’ll find him, eventually... The girl’s name is Kiara” He said softly.
 I gasped loudly, without meaning too and quickly slapped my hand over my mouth, trying to shuffle backwards quietly. But they heard me, and it was too late. “It’s her!” I heard him whisper loudly. I almost tripped over the rug but regained my balance and ran back to my room, with my torch in hand, seeing that my the window in my room was left ajar, so I pushed up the window further and jumped out. I heard my roommates stir in their beds, but I couldn’t worry about them now. I had to get away. I started running down the cold dark street. It was the middle of the night, and I could hear nothing but the sound of my fee slamming hard against the pavement. Soon after though, I heard them yelling my name and running after me. It was them, Val and Braiden. I tried running faster, but it seems like they have been running every day. One moment, I’m blocking out all my senses and just focusing on running. The next minute, I am being tackled to the ground by Braiden’s heavily, muscled body. “Offt!” I huff as my chest hits the ground first, knocking the air out of my lungs. I stay there for a few seconds more trying to catch back my breath, and then I start squirming “Let me go!” I say, shocked by the authority in my voice. “What do you want with me?!” He transfers his weight to his hands which have locked mine behind my back so I can’t start swinging at them. “You’ll know soon enough.”
And that’s all he says to me. I hear Val’s heavy footsteps coming towards us, and her heavy breathing. She’s obviously not as good as a runner as Braiden and I. He waits for Val to catch her breath before he asks her for the nylon cords. “Sure.” She says, and takes off her back pack and pulls out some cords that Braiden quickly ties around my hands. “Sorry about this, but we need you.” He says softly, before gently pulling me up.
A car pulls up beside us and he ushers my in. I sit there quietly for the rest of the, not knowing where I was going or what these people needed me for. I was dying to ask so many questions, but I made myself stay quiet. I didn’t want to get into any more trouble.
We drove for a few more minutes, and I tried to take in the surroundings outside, but the windows were tinted from the inside too, so I couldn’t see anything at all outside. The car slowed down and pulled into a driveway of a normal looking town house. They pulled me out of the car and led me into the house.
It was all quiet except for the quiet hum of the refrigerator. Braiden and Val sat me down at the table and just looked at me for a few minutes. The driver stayed in the car. After the third minute I started getting annoyed. How dare they kidnap me! “What? What do you want with me? Why did you kidnap me?!” I practically yell. And they just keep on staring.
I try to get up out of my seat, but a hand on my back stops me. “Why, hello. Long time no see little girl.” The voice says cynically. My eyes go wide. The way he said little girl, reminds me of that terrible night, when my parents were murdered. I hadn’t been able to identify his face. I was paying too much attention to my mothers’ and father’s face at the time. But when he had left, he said “Good bye little girl.” With the same menacing amusement he used just now.
I had to get out. Now. I had been working away at trying to get off the nylon cords and had them very loose around my wrists. I pulled my wrists out of the cords and pushed my chair back so it would hit the man without him expecting it. I heard him wheeze a little as the chair got him in the gut, and I just ran out of the back door of the house. I didn’t know where I would go but I couldn’t go back to the orphanage, they would just come back and find me. I kept on running, even though my lungs were burning, I could never stop. Never stop running away. He could find me. Wherever I go, he could find me. But I will never know who he is. Or why he wants me. All I know now is that I have to run.
