I have similar views to him, i believe that the charities are spending too much on advertising, and they could just be getting water pumps. Yes i understand they need advertising to get us to donate, but they could be a bit more imaginitive. Cancer research and charities like that do marathons and challenges to raise money, whereas wateraid and stuff (dont quote me, i haven't done any research) dont as far as i know. They just try to manipulate our emotions to get us to donate, they would get a lot more money if they did anything more than rely on charitable people (who nowadays tend to be rare).
